Weathertop: The ancient fortress where Frodo meets the dark steel of the Nazgul.

About this creation

This is my entry for Christopher Baldacci's The Great Lord of the Rings Contest. It is a full 32x32 Weathertop, based off of a blend of the film version and my own imagination of the scene from The Fellowhip of the Ring.

Enjoy!

The cavern built into the side with Sam and his backpack. You can also see the doorway that leads onto the main fortress.

Sorry I am so late in commenting. I love the cave that the hobbits hide in in the movie. Incredible work on the ruins. The rock work looks a bit choppy, but the minifigs (and the brickarms) pretty much makes up for it. Great work! When are you going to post the witch king?

I agree, Frodo's torso could be better. I am going to have different one when I post my Fellowship. I like my Aragorn face, but I agree I could've used a different one for this scene.

OK so Accuracy: Because you made this from the book it is hard to say how accurate it is so I will give you a standard: 20/30 Minifigs: Frodo's torso could be better but your Sam is perfect. The head on Aragorn needs to change as well: 10/20 Originality: You made this from the book so it is already original but this scene has been made by a whole lot of people: 5/10 Creativity: I love Sam's backpack and the way you built this was very impressive: 30/35 Pictures: 5/5 Total: 70/100
