I would like to introduce to you my self-moc, Polsuris, the Toa of Energy!

Name: Polsuris
Species: Matoran (onu-matoran)
Occupation: Toa

Kanohi: Mask of Regeneration (Modified)
Weapons: Energy Spear, Shield, Twin energy clubs
Story: Polsuris lived on the island of Metru Nui. He was an unusual onu-matoran. Unlike other onu-matoran, Polsuris had a huge interest in the finding of knowledge, being more of a scholar than a miner. He was already given a Toa stone by a Toa who was interested in his unusual interest in knowledge. Polsuris, however, decided to withhold being a Toa, since he wanted to continue with his studies. One day, after researching the effects of energised protodermis, he went down to the mine to examine a spring of energized protodermis that was found during the excavation. When he went down there, the walls containing the energized protodermis broke and swept Polsuris back to the surface. Instead of being destroyed, the energy in the protodermis reacted with the Toa stone transforming Polsuris into a Toa of energy! He perfected his powers at Mata Nui, by causing massive destruction. He actually nearly got squashed when the island broke up, having only just made it to Metru Nui when Teridax awakened Mata Nui’s body. After the destruction of the matoran universe, he has been living on Spherus Magna, taking various assignments from Tahu and the ruling body on Spherus Magna.
Strengths: Can control energy, absorb many kinds of energy and release energy. Has the potential to access ‘dark’ energy, which is capable of causing widespread destruction if not controlled. It requires an ‘inner darkness’ to activate.
Weakness: Cannot control or absorb elemental energy (e.g. He can absorb heat energy but cannot absorb fire released from a Toa of Fire). If he absorbs too much without releasing can suffer physical and mental damage.

My first build with a custom torso. I think it turned out well, though it does need some work. Took a while to upload, the uploader stopped working for me for portrait-orientated pictures, so I had to retake some of them.
