Giovanni Seynhaeve vs Tyler Halliwell: What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
About this creation
MO homepage
Go, Tyler, go!

At first I wanted to do a series of "Murphy's Law vigs" but while brainstorming I felt like repeating myself. Then I heard my son laughing at the TV. He was watching these

and I was instantly inspired and went for a tribute to Coyote's death traps, miniland style.

I feel I impressed and surprised myself that I was able to build all of these given the shortage of building time last week. Allthough you might discover some parts recycling here and there.

Enjoy!

Absolutely, stupendously funny and brilliant building. A lot of time and effort has obviously gone into this series of MOCs. I especially love the giant catapult and the rocket'n'rollerskates. The opening photo, with the tyre for Road Runner's fast legs and Cayote's mouth hanging open is great. I also think that the hole in the cliff, in the last photo, is very done too.

Haha, very funny! You did an amazing job turning the Road Runner and Coyote into brickform. And the amount of detail you put into all the traps and the landscape around them is brilliant. All in all, great work here!

Wow, Gio! These are epic Miniland scale builds. I love the parts usage and the scenes are instantly recognizable. Watch out of the Master Model Builders are going to be stealing ideas from you. ;-) Great take on the category and congrats on the win!

Misters Seynhaeve, It's not just the builds, but it's the part usage that creates such great expression in the scale you chose that pushed you to the win. You have my vote. ~Dave

I think you've overwhelmed Tyler in the sheer scale of these builds. Nothing exemplifies the quote more than the schemes of that unruly Coyote... So my vote goes to you, Chief! Good luck with the other judges!

Best of luck P.S. you can get a beak/tooth in light orange...as seen on my little penguin :)

Quoting Blake Baer My one small nitpick would be a different color beak for Road-Runner
So true. I build with my son's bricks this year (mine are "occupied"), and he doesn't have a yellow or orange one. In fact, I don't think Lego makes them in orange (yet)?
