Another alternate of Creator set 5867 Super Speedster. This pickup is my 11th installment from this set.
About this creation
After my Sideswipe Transformer, I have now returned to building another alternate, and yet again from set 5867. I just couldn't resist after acquiring a few more copies. The idea was to design a pickup, but it looked a bit boring so I changed it into a wrecker towtruck version in the end.
Let's start with an overview picture of the pickup.
Here is the rear section. Basically this wrecker is a modified pickup with a towing device installed.
Front view with the curved bonnet, the headlights and the big grill.
The side profile shows some livery lines, which are used for recognizing a company's identity.
With this topview it becomes pretty clear that the back part is wider than the front.
A closer look at the crane reveals some winches and hooks.
This perspective makes the truck look quite big.
A picture showing the structure underneath.
Now it's driving off to hit the road again helping people.

Wow, that is a really cool tow truck. I really like the grill design. It reminds me a bit of the grill on some Dodge pickup trucks. With the amount of alternates you've done for this set, it clearly has a lot of potential. |

Okay, another one to replicate for me. :) I'm particularly interested in the SNOT solutions used at the front wheels and how can the back part be wider. Will have to have a closer look when I have time. |

It's fantastic!!! It reminds me of the big american pickups. And I like your horizontal, vertical and upside-down building techniques. Very good! I will post an 5867 model in this weekend too. |

Another cool alternative! Not quite up to your unimog standards but still very good. I'd like to see you try another transformer, your Countachformer is incredible :) |

This one is great. Once again, you show that the possibilities with this set are almost endless! I think this is the first alternate I've seen that visibly uses the tan colored plates, and the tan and black stripes look really nice. I'll have to study this one more closely as it is obvious that there is much to learn from this one. |
