Yet another(probably almost final) revamp. Thanks to Cossy for inspiration, building tips, and encouragement for this Moc.

Toa Boltran is the only male Toa of Lightning, to his knowledge, in existence. However, lightning is not his only element. In his youth, Boltran was a cocky, hot-headed Toa who thought he was always right. This fact soon led to being captured by the Dark Hunters. They thought him very amusing as he furiously tried to escape, and one hunter said he acted more like a Fire Toa then a Lightning one.
Eventually an odd scientist came to the Dark Hunters and claimed to have created a virus that can give anyone power over fire. He also told them that it might have deadly side effects, and asked if they had anyone he could use as a test. They told him about Boltran, and sprayed the virus(which they turned into gas) into his cell.
After the first few days, nothing happened, and the Dark Hunters weren't happy. The truth was that he was hiding his powers until he had the strength to break out. When he did, he destroyed his cell, and had the freedom to unleash his electric powers. They were no match for him, and he quickly escaped.
But his troubles weren't over. He soon found that the virus had turned his mask and some of his armor bright red, and soon found out the virus was slowly killing him. Though the journey was hard, Boltran put together the cure that a matoran scientist had given him, and has created a life support that keeps him from dying(Hence, the tubes.). However, his appearance is still the same, and he now has a permanent power over fire as well as lightning.
Boltran is a much wiser toa now, or so he thinks. Although a bit humbler now, he still thinks of himself as the brains and the brawn of the team, which has him wondering why Davix is the leader. He has been promoted to second-in-command by the Toa Nuva for his skill in combat and skill in making strategies. He has been known to undermine Davix's leadership in the past, which throws them into constant arguments with each other. Boltran needs to realize his important role in the team rather then assuming Davix's leadership.
Front view. You can already tell there's been a lot of updates, including the fact he's about 98% custom(normal head)!

His legs are now 100% custom, unless you count the Metru feet. They look so much better now, don't you think?
Body, is now custom, goodbye Inika torso! Won't be missing you! His arms are also redone, and look far more symmetrical, yet unique, to each other.
Now he has a brand new bow! You like it!?

Ah, man, I really don't know. Even though I can produce somewhat good mocs like Boltran these days, I still feel too low on pieces to enter a Moc off. If you really want to, I will, but I do have someone else who already wants to be in a Moc off with me. Thanks a million everybody! :D |

You've done great on this one! I like the many-pieces-chest design most, but the bow looks also very cool! Altogether, those many colors give him a very flamish look. Excellent! |

Wow. He really looks 100x better now. That bold color scheme reminds me of Fire Lord, but you actually made it look good. ;) The custom parts are great, and I love the backstory. Keep it up! Also, I'd like to see the Orange-Red foot first. XD Mostly because I have a Black-White MOC it the making right now ;) But it's not my decision. :) |

Simply Freakin amazing. The simple complexity yet work so smoothly with the rest of the model. I cant think of any Way you could improve it. I Will admit that i did like the Bow you had for the other versions since it looked like it had the actual string part ( I don't know the technical term) Other than that I have no complaints. Also where did you find the fire piece you used for the arrow tip, I've never seen one like it although I don't buy many regular Lego sets so it wouldn't surprise me that i have never seen it. |

Man i always loved him ! Awesome Revamp. I can't point out what I like since everything is well done. And yes, the new bow is impressive. I'm guessing the orange/red guy is Tahu. The white one, Jawbog? Anyways, great revamp on this guy. 5/5 |

That mask is so agonizing for me!
