Ignited Gundam (Home designed Unit)
My new Home designed gundam, the Ignited Gundam. I wanted to try building with the new Thomas Z. design ( particularly his Valor design) and I had the idea of this MS in my head since one month, so I work hard (really hard x) ) and I've been up to this. Hope you like it =)
About this creation
The inspiration here should be obvious. Huh? Who said Kshastriya ? Yeah, Marida's unit have a great part into this thing, but the Red Astray gundam too. (Don't tell me that it looks like Musha Gundam, or I kill you ! x) ).

This Gundam is clearly made for close combat. Equiped with two beam sabers stored on skirt armor, with a heavy beam sword, and with a beam saber system on each wing, it could easily swoop on ennemies group with a incredible speed and bring chaos.
To allow fast counter attack, two vulcans are mounted onto the torso.
Credits :
The feets, the main designer of the head, the skirt armor and the overall shape of the torso comes from Thomas Z.
The rear booster get inspiration from Mithryl Dlarix work.

Let's see the pictures :

The rifle. It could be stored on the skirt armor to be quick use when using sword :

The Sword. This sword, called WingedArrow, is a heavy beam sword which can be use against MS, ships, and everithing else.

Other features :

I wanted to show the amazing rotation that can be done with the wings but I'm really bad in posing with LDD and the sreenshots would have been ugly, so use a bit of your wonderful imagination x).

Thomas, a really big thank to you, you work is really inspirating, and I couldn't have so much fun building things like this one without your amazing work.
When I get a look to my Destiny, I feel ashamed because this gundam is clearly more well shaped and smoother ahah :)

Here it is. Please feel free to rate and comment. Feedback and construtive comments are always welcome :).

Oh, Almost Forgot, You May Want To Add Small, Rapid Fire Weapons, Such As Vulcans Or Chain Guns, That Are Integrated Somewhere That Is Able To Move Freely, Typical Choices Are Usually Either In The Head Or Wrists. This Helps With Defensive Measure Such As Missile Interception.

I'm Glad That You Said That Because The Important Thing About Any Hobby Is Having Fun, If You're Not Having Fun, Why Do It? I Often Keep Forgetting That Some May Simply Want To Build Stuff, My Goal With The Group Is To Help Builders Become Better Builders. But That Means Different Things To Different People. So, If Taking Other People's Designs And Pushing The Limits Of Their Design Is What You Enjoy, By All Means Do That. Whatever I May Say Is Simply Opinions, Suggestions, And My Thoughts On A MOC, It's Really Up To You What Direction You Want To Take Your LEGO Hobby.

Ok man, first I have to thank you for this very complete review, it should has took some time to compare the two mocs with this level of precision. Then, about the moc, the unit does have Vulcans integrated onto the torso. I didn't precise it, it's entirely my fault and it will be rectified. For the shields, you may be totally right but I wanted them to be big and impressive, and in Science Fiction there is always something to justify things like that haha. About me now. Yes I agree with you, there a lot of Thomas work in this work, but there is a reason. Building this, I only wanted to see what could be done or not with his design, which was really intriguing me. I came up to something intesting so I ask Thomas if I could and I posted it. You've put the finger on something here. Don't consider this as a show of my poor building skills that maybe don't really exist. Also I'm not sure that someday I will have a "style" or something like that. I'm just here to have fun, and build things that give me fun. So thank you again for your review, It's always a real pleasure to have a frank point of view with arguments.

Hey Man, Sorry It Took Me So Long To Actually Review This, I Literally Took Apart Both Yours And Thomas' MOC. Since Some Of Your Older MOCs' Images Are Broken, I Wanted To See What Your Style As A Builder Is. Anyway, I Really Think You're Cutting Yourself Short, From What I Could See During My Dissection Of Your MOC You're A Decent Builder. The Wings Were Very Nicely Made, And I Have To Agree That Making Them Larger Would Not Be A Wise Choice Unless You Made The Thrusters Larger, Otherwise They're Added Weight. Much Unlike The NZ-666, This Unit Was Meant For CQC, And The Features You Choose Suit It Quite Well. The Only Issue I Had Was With The Shield Emitters, I Feel That The Shield Produced Is Far Too Large For The Size Of The Emitter, I Feel That This Would Create An Unstable Shield. Also, When The Shield Activates, Grey Portion Is On Top Of The Beam, And From What Can See From The Images, There Would Be Now Way For This To Occur. I Really Feel That The Shield Emitter Should Redesigned, I Would Have Them Incorporated Throughout The Wing For Such A Large Shield. Other Than That, I See No Actual Issue With The MOC. There Is One Thing I Want To Discuss With You Though, I Feel That You're Comparing Yourself Too Much To MD And Thomas, When I Look At This MOC, I Feel That It Has Too Much Thomas In It, And Not Enough Winter In It. I Feel That You Should Try To Be Winter, Not To Be MD Or Thomas. I Have No Problem With You Using Their Work, But Keep In Mind They Have Made A Lot Of Gundam MOCs And Have Refined Their Styles, So If You Feel Like Your Work Is Lacking Compared To Them, It's Not That You Are Lacking But They've Had More Experience. If You Want To Become Better, Maybe You Should Try Building A MOC Without Using Other People's Work, And In All Honesty It Would Help You More To Build From Scratch And Make Something You Feel Is Lacking When Compared To Their Work, Than Taking Their Work And Modding It, Because It Would Allow You To Create And Refine A Style Of Your Own, And If You Were Able To Do That, Who Knows, Maybe Someday People Will Be Using Your Work As Well. So, Overall, I Feel That This Is A Fairly Solid MOC, However It Has Too Much Of A Thomas Feel To It. So, I Suggest That You Try Building From Scratch More Often In Order To Refine Your Own Style.

It's awesome Gundam. I'm pleased with the beam saber and the shield which used the transparent parts.

It's a good modify from Thomas's model. No matter color and lots of detail. I can feel your skill is getting better and better. Keep up such great building.

Thanks Mythril, it's good to see you there :) If the wings are clealy smaller than Kshatriya's, it's a "normal" thing : it's not supposed to be a heavy unit with the enormous body of the Kshatriya, so everything is smaller. Maybe the proportions are not respected, but I wanted it like that =P. About your torso, don(t misunderstand me when I say that Thomas's torso is a bit cleaner than yours. I know that all your units feet a minifig, and that is an awesome( very awesome!) feature. Just considering this, your design is speechless.

I'm a big fan of the design and weapons on this, but the Kshatriya wing binders need to be bigger--they seem too puny in comparison with the unit itself.

Hey Man, Thanks For Joining The Group, And I Just Wanted To Let You Know That I Will Be Taking Apart Both This MOC And Thomas' MOC To See Exactly What You Did With His Designs, Which May Take Some Time, But Expect A Review Sometime This Week At The Latest. Also, I Feel That I Should Warn You That On A Personal Level I Don't Like Using The Work Of Others And Basing My Own Work On Them, But I Will Be Doing My Best To Control My Subjective Side In Order To Objectively Review Your MOC But If You Feel That In My Review That I Allow My Personal Feelings On This Approach To Interfere With My Review, Please Let Me Know.

Thanks for commenting :), I'm glad I suceed in doing something looking cool using your design. For your Kshatriya, of course you could use whatever you want on this gundam, it's always a huge honor to help you. And I said it , don't tell it looks like Musha or I kill you!! ahah. Thanks, man. =)

Well, don't be ashamed! You made an incredible Destiny and now this...man you really blew my mind with this one. I never even imagined that my design would look so well with Mithryl's backpack xdd. The colors are very good, as well as the weapons (especially the sword)The legs are also awesome after your redesign. You should've named it the Mushatriya lol! :D I'm also building the Kshatriya so I might take some ideas from this one if you don't mind, altough, that one will be the size of my Sazabi, but it's still far in the future. Truly...amazing, and I'm really honored, thank you! And keep it up!
