My entry to the first round of the MIT, the description, this city was taken over by a dictator during a starving time, he ruled with an iron fist and sent every citizen to work, and get benefits like free health care, free housing, free education, and tax breaks. However his corruption blinded him and eventually died, he was soon treated like a god, a statue on every street corner, wall poster, even bumper stickers. Today, the city is starting to be economically successful as the classic stereotypical dystopian city is changing its image. There were more photos but my stupid camera (brand new and am very fed up with it) won't download anymore photos.

the smokestacks, with their familiar, eerie look of the belching smoke, their is no environmental regulations and air quality is poor. Most forests were cut down to make way for its growing population of 18 million. The only way to live in the city is you must be loyal with all your heart to the Socialist-Anti Capitalism Party (SAPCP) or the Great Anti-Liberal party (GALP)

The twin towers which one houses the great house of tributes and the great senate.

An Obelisk and a statue of the dictator that "made the city great" and the done of the great hall of congress where both houses and the supreme president meet.

The Train station that leads to other parts of the city and surrounding areas.

A skyscraper that is the third tallest building and only one used by private business. Also has some SNOT work in it.

A view of the twin towers.

An above view of the city.

The skyline.

some music to add to the creepy effect:

These buildings continue to amaze me. The idea of using engine body's for a train station is genius.

If it was raining, and you had the Ferengi Tower of Commerce instead of the twin towers, it could Feringinar of Star Trek!

Has that feel of a future city, one that has been taken over by big corperations. The dark grey certainly adds to the feel. You have my vote.

Solid entry. The colors used set the mood as well as the "disorderly" look of the city. You got my vote.
