MIT Round 1: Flare vs Nick Jensen
Sucky zeppelin is sucky.
About this creation
Category: Dirigible - An airship that is lighter than air and stays aloft due to an envelope of gas which is less dense than the surrounding atmosphere. Examples include balloons, blimps, and zeppelins.

I hate this category.

My mighty (yet unaware?) opponent.
Ye awesome contest.

I had this EPIC idea for an entry in this contest. So I started it last week. And then I got a crap load of homework. And then I continued working on it this past Saturday. And it wasn't working. And I was running out of time. And then I went on a dumb school camping trip.

So this entry is NOTHING like what I had originally planned, it really is another bad build so if Nick gets around to posting an entry then he will make it easily.

And yes, I realize now that the micro peepz are too big for the zeppelin, but what can I do. I had to the picture, fix it up purdy, and upload it, all within a very short period of time. And don't forget about everything else I've said.

Thankfully if I make it to Round 2 of the MIT, it will be in the middle of a break so I will have time to work on an actual entry.

Good luck to the rest of the 'losers'.

Viva la MIT.

One more note, if you have criticism on the build (I know you'll have plenty), don't mention it if its something I've already mentioned above. If its something different I would love to hear your opinion. Thank you!

Quoting Master Shifu Leo J Could that be a new transport for PP2060?
Perhaps...

Quoting Stacy Sterling I'm bummed that you're so unhappy with your category and creation, challenging categories are part of the game though. I think it is a nice looking zeppelin and the backdrop and microfigs were a very nice touch. Looking forward to seeing your entry next round.
Thanks Stacy :)

Thanks everyone.
Quoting George G. Is the back of the balloon more pointed than the round front? Because that's what real ones are like. Great entry and my support is with you!
Yeah it is, but you can't see the back properly in this photo.

Maybe it's just the shape that's the problem. Anyway, good job! I wish you the best of luck if your opponent enters. :)

The shape is better if you multiply the length (not width) of all layers by two.

This was a very cool entry. Clean, cartoonish and technically sound. Too bad it feels like you gave up halfway through :(

That's not so bad, good background, but some additions would have been great indeed (such as a hangar, flags, watch/control tower). the thing with these contest is that time is against you :p when I signed up everything was going to be great. when round one started I barely had time :S

Nice work , Flare! I really hope you make it to the next round. I would love to go up against you in the future. I also LOVE those clouds. Honestly, I think that this entry is pretty good. I can't seem to find any flaws with it. You should make it to the next round. Good luck and I hope to see you in round two!
