half an hour? ok, you could have cramped a few more details, but, I still love that rear deck you did here, I bought the new grain boat a few months ago, now you make me want to try itin the water, as for your magnificent older ships, I think I d try to wrap the bottom of it in saran wrap or other plastic to seal it temporarly, as for balance, well, I d do a prayer, lol! happy halloween to you too sebeus!!! |

Very nice pictures! Nice ocean for your nextship. Will you use it to take pictures of your new Flying Dutchman?!
I remember I used to have 2 of these Police patrol boats, and another longer red hull... And I had made some sort of trimaran. I had a lot of fun, in my bath! =) |

Love it man, can't wait to see some of the pirate ships in there, it'll be great for pictures! |

Nice little boat there. I've been thinking about getting a few that size but I don't quite have enough water military figs. There is a possible way though to get your pirate ships to "look" like they're floating without using nonlego material. Obtain one of those kiddie pools, cut off the sides enough to be level with the water, paint or alter the facing up top part to look deeper then put your ships in it. You will probably need to alter the background on the pic. If all goes right then you will have the floating effect, real water, and have background look like sky or a distant island. |

Adding it to the water is such a great idea! The build itself is quite simple, but when you can throw something together in such little time, yet it looks awesome, it shows you are a master builder! BTW your pond is amazing! I'm jeleous!!! I would kill to have a huge pond in my yard! |

Haha, very nice. I like how you added the pirate flag. Also, does this Yacht have a jet? I saw the currents behind it.
:P no, I just gave it a little push for that picture |

Very nice, making lego ships float is not the problem, making them float upright is, especially sailing ships, i tried to do so once or twice, but the ships always turned on their side or even upside down :P
yeah, I've noticed on this little boat, If I place all minifigures on the same side of the ship it starts turning as well, I can imagine it will be difficult finding a good balance on bigger ships |

This is great! I'm pretty sure i had that boat hull from a very old police boat. It look brilliant on the water :)
Yes, it was from a police boat, very old indeed |

NOOOOO!!!! Now I have a rival! ;) (by the way, don't get great hopes on making your ships floating, because for personal experience that's almost impossible) Nice yatch, small but detailed, and the environment really makes it FANTASTIC! I'm really anxious to see your ships in the water :D
My sister has this great rubber paint which might be usefull to make it waterproof but I suppose that isn't the main concern, our ships are probably just too heavy to float :S
I'll try putting a chair in the water and put my ship on it. |

Good luck with that :P

I remember seeing a Lego boat floating using those Bionicle bin thingys. Your pirate ships are certainly large enough to fit a few in. =P |

Obviously not your best MOC, but very nice nonetheless. A really good 'town' style creation (and as such I think it looks better with studs). The guy at the back looks like he's going to have a fun day! 4/5 : ) |
