I find is very neat that both of us created floats with an ocean theme and old sailing ships. Great minds think alike!

Beautiful work. The facial details on Poseidon are amazing, but my favorite part might just be the little ship. Now you just need to expand it and have Poseidon riding a chariot pulled by seahorses.

Quite clever! Having worked on floats for the Rose parade, seeing this in action pulls a special chord in my heart. You made my day with this! Thank you.

It always amazes me when people build something organic with LEGO®. But apart from the extra function I like some little details even more. For example the curly ends of the sea foam.

Wonderful entry, i initally thought that the waves left something to be desired, but then i realised it was a float - perfect! It's one thing to make bricks look like something else, but to make it look like a convincing fake of something else adds another degree of difficulty. And the power functions look ace! I look forward to seeing yr round 3 entry. :)

Seriously cool stuff! That wave is neat, but the fact that you made a working float is just over the top. Poseidon himself is one bad looking dude, too. I'd vote for you if I could, but since I can't, could you at least toss me some beads? I gotta get ready for Fat Tuesday!

Poseidon waving his arm like that looks kind of funny... Very paradey, although maybe decorating the sides with ribbons and stuff would make it more apropriate to the theme, even if it weren't as good itself.

Quoting Max Pointner Wow, you are incredible. That mini ship is great, as well as the white caps and Poseidon's beard. Ant then I saw that they rock back and forth when you push it. WOW!
Thanks. It's actually motorized with Power Functions. I meant to put that in the description but forgot :P
