So, I was not thrilled when I got the category "CubeDude Superhero"; As I'm not the biggest fan of Superheros, and I've never made a CubeDude before.
But I think this turned out pretty OK.
The main Superhero here is Thor, I picked him as he's the most castley of them all. :]
And to make things a bit more interesting, (and since you AFOL's love yourselves some humor) I made a little story. It kind of shows my 'Amusement' with Superheros.
LET US BEGIN...
The following takes place at a dinner date.
Hi, I'm Thor. And I'm looking for a woman.
Hi Thor! I'm Cindy! I'm looking for a soul mate as well.
So, what do you do for a living?
I'm the god of thunder.
Really? What does that consist of?
Not much actually. I get to rescue some hot girls sometimes.
I got to go out with Natalie Portman one time.
Oh she was smokin...
But I had to move.
Um, ok. I really didn't need to know that.
Anyways, I'm a secretary. And I like cats.
Do you have any hobbies?
I like to whack stuff with a hammer.
*Crickets*
It's a magic hammer!
Seriously?! I'm trying to be nice here! And your acting some kind of nutcase! Waving a giant hammer around! Who brings a hammer on a date anyways?
But..but I like to whack stuff.
We're done! I'm leaving now!
What's wrong with me?! Every guy I go out with is a complete freak show!

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I just wish I spent a little more time on it, maybe made some backgrounds and such. But hey, no big deal. And there actually IS another contest that I would to enter. So off I go to my Lego. |

He man, don't be so hard on yourself. It's the nature of the game to have one move on and the other to hit the showers. But in the end, it's just a game. Nobody will think less of you and your builds. If anything, people actually appreciate what you build here. There will be plenty of other contests and opportunities in the future. Just keep brickin'! Ru, I think you've done a wonderful job here. That was my category idea and I'm proud of what you made of it, especially since I'm named after Thor in real life.
Apart from your excellent building skills, you have a very good comedy timing.
I'm sure the judges had a hard time doing their job, but hey, there're so many other things to build, so many other contests to join (and win) until the next MOC Olympics. |
