Hey there, thanks for the detailed comments, it's truly great to hear what everybody thinks. There is a mix of old and new grey, and some of the older pieces from my childhood are truly weathered. WOW that is amazing, The rockwork is brillliant and realistic, the castle..... I'm Speechless! :D

Epic scale. Attention to detail. Subtle differences in light grey tones (new & old style or are some actually "weathered"?). Unashamed but effective use of old castle panel wall pieces, where other builders would shy away. Turning some torsos around to give the impression that the design is front & back... etc. Lots of simple ideas that add up to a brilliant creation.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement! After exploring MOCpages, I can see some definite advantages over flickr! I will post some new photos of the castle as requested, and I will be rebuilding parts of it and re-posting sometime in the future!

Reminds me of some old Cathar stronghold... holding out 'til the last while a few good monks/knights sneak down the walls with the holy treasure(perhaps the Grail?) to the safety of Scotland! Thanx for the experience! :)

My eyes bugged out in amazement at first glance of this beauty. The stone work i rediculously good. The castle has a sense of realism and is masterfully built. I would, like everyone else, like to see a few more shots in a closer perspective and/or some interior shots of the castle. This is a masterpiece!
