I've been lucky enough to have several MOTDs (so you might well have seen others) but this was one of them, yes. Heh, I feel so humble writing this... ;)

Hey, I think I found Indiana Jones in the back seat... ;) Great MOC! The wooden architecture is really stellar; it seems to perfectly convey the amusement park feel. Also, there's a nice sense of building action... that feeling you get in your gut right as the cars slide over the drop--excellent! Congrats on MOTD!

Ha-ha-ha, very detailed! I noticed that faces of 3 mini-figs were based on Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack, Hadras, and Elizabeth. The 4th one is Indiana Jones; and he is all alone ;)

Well, my first time at judging, and it is not easy... But it is going to have to be yours, I love the look of the track, and the wooden coaster reminds me of one I road at a now closed amusement park. (I think it has become offices. The land was worth to much). But yes, vote to you.

Since everybody in MIT are already seeded, the game basically becomes a MOC-off, i,e, you vs. Timinator. And since both of you have already posted, the judges can go ahead and cast their votes. Mr. Bones has started voting in his region of responsibility. While we can wait until Oct. 5th, you could just imagine how much we have to deal with especially in R1 with the number of entries. BTW, the vote here is very close. My vote against you does not take away from the quality of this MOC.

Thanks anyway for the comment. Your right, Tim's does look fun to ride, I just did the best with what I have. That's where a lot of builders could beat me, because I have a small collection I can't do builds the scale of his due to lack of pieces. But enough pity party. This is truly excellent.

Having very similar builds does not make it easier to judge. Both builds are excellent and stayed true to the category. While Ian's is more finesse and have some close to real-world construction techniques, Timinator's build captures the ride experience better IMO. Unfortunately, I can only vote for one. My vote goes to Timinator.

Heh,heh; I was about to comment about those chains but then I saw what you said. Great job. I'd like to see you build a full roller-coaster, or at least attempt a corner; it would be tricky but I think you could do it, and it would be outstanding. :]

Very nice design. Seeing as you know that the chains are on the up hill way not have the car turned around getting ready for the upcoming plummet? That is the most exciting part of the ride anyways the anticipation before the fall. I love the track and the rickety looking wood coaster. good luck!

AH! This is awesome! Actually one of your best creations! The sides of the coaster are AMAZING, same with the chain and the use of those quazi-ladder/railing pieces a track. And although the cart seems to be taking some flak it is plain and boxy, cause guess what, Wooden Coaster cars are...plain and boxy! It looks just like a roller coaster car. I love the figs too. But I feel sorry for that one guy. Not even over the first hill and he's already revisited that chili dog. Ugh. Nothing wrong with this one Ian. Just awesome!
