Saltitar
About this creation
Saltitar... widely viewed as the most bizzare of all Kirotan. Saltitar is a prodominatly female species, the males are smaller and less important in the hierarchy. These beasts will sit, as if dormant and wait for something to approach them, lured by its intreging appearance. Then, the Kirotan will unfold its back arms and destroy the foolish prey, after which it will be devoured.
Saltitar have very large heads which, most matoran scientists beleave to be the shell for a large brain, but this just presumtion. After all, Cro-Magnon people had a larger brain capacity than modern day humans, but we are smarter. (SCIENTIFIC FACT! BIGGER BRAIN DOES NOT MEAN SMARTER).
Most Saltitar do not group together, but prefer to live alone.
There frontal arms are almost useless, except for the handling of food.
