The BTR-90 "Armadillo" is an advanced IFV designed to replace the BMP-1's and 2's in Armenian service.
About this creation










The BTR-90 “Armadillo” is one of the most advanced infantry fighting vehicles in the world. Its defensive and offensive systems are state of the art. Armed with a 20mm automatic cannon, a remote controlled 50-caliber machine gun and two wire-guided hydra-ATM’s. Its basic armor is 1.5 inch steel armor, similar top that used on U.S. army strikers, a layer of Kevlar and hard points for bolt-on ceramic armor above the treads. Its defensive measures include an 8-man squad of infantry, two smoke launchers, an Archangel-APS and a thermal imaging scope.
