About this creation
This is my first upload onto the pages! I`m really excited and hope you liked it.
Ok the ThunderBird 1.0 ICV (Intergalactic Cargo Vessel) is the 12th custom starship that I`ve built. I uploaded this creation first because I beleive that it is the most worthy (or at least close enough).
The ThunderBird is used as a transport vessel used in the BC. The BC is a Galactic orginization against pirating and slavery. Though not following the law, the BC still protects civilians of over 51,476 cities. Even though they only posseses 12 ships.
ENJOY!!!

Weapons: Ionized Super Laser; Defense Turret; Duo side Cannons
Top view
Ionized super laser. This massive weapon can only be fired once a day because of all the energy used.
Side view
Engines. I started out with the two bottom ones at first, but when I built the bridge I added two technic pieces by accident, so I added two more to cover it up.

Details on the side

The bridge can be taken off, revealing a second cargo bay.

It has some nice parts sure but it looks unfinished on other parts, maybe you were short on parts, that's understandable. Good job.
Yeah I was reaaaally short, I didnt think I would have time to even come close to finishing! I'll be making upgrades and things soon to improve the look. |

This is a sweet ship you got here! Nice details and color scheme. Be mindful of asking people to check out your MOC's in comments because there are a number of builders on here that abuse that and it is frowned apon. It's cool though because you are new. Other than that, great work and keep MOCing! |

Well, for a first ship, not bad. The white suits it well. The hull is a little too busy, too much in the way of conflicting shapes. Try going simpler with the design. But very good for a first post. I agree the large photo option is ALWAYS the best option. As for the background, find yourself a corner that isn't used often. Put a nice table in that corner, one with a gray or white surface that will contrast nicely with the walls. Set up at least one light, perferably two. This will create a stage for photo taking and will provide a good background should you decide to learn to photo edit later on. I use a subwoofer on its side since I like to sit cross legged (more difficult for me now though, with my knee injury and all). If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer, or find out the answer. Just ask. ^Blub^
Thanks! I can definitly use the help! |

Jake, I really like the obscure design of this ship. It isn't very often we see a ship of this caliber. Great work bud!
Thank you! I try to make sure that most of my ships don`t look like planes or boats, I try to get that "different" factor in there |
|
|
You're new? Me too. Nice build. Carry on MOCing |

Pretty cool ship! A couple tips: Always choose the large picture option when you upload, it makes it easier for people to see details. And also, you should try putting a white sheet or peice of paper behind your build when you photograph. Nice first MOC, and welcome to the pages! |
