"Tour Ronde" means "Round Tower" in French. The tower was fun to make, but the roof could be better.

Sweet diorama. I've been meaning to build a round wall for ages but never get around to it. I've always wondered how I'd build the roof - I've never seen your approach before and I think it works well. |

THis roof is really cool. With some added cheese slopes, it could look really nice. Thanks for sharing a cool technique and giving me some ideas. Keep up the good work. |

This is awesome! Cool details and interesting techniques. That roof has a kind of gothic look to it :-) I wonder if your wall technique could be used to build a 7-stud (interior width) missile silo? I have been struggling to build something close to a scale-model of a mobile launcher i saw on YT and the one i uploaded didn't turn out as i hoped.
Seven-stud might be stretching it a bit. You may be able to squeeze it that tight, but it'll be difficult.

Nice! I've always wanted to use that technique, I'd have to scrounge up enough cylinders though! Great build, and the roof technique is excellent! |

I like your solution for round roof on tower. You could place on top of black slopes 6x6 dish and on that 4x4 cone and on tat 2x2 cone.
I will try that.
If only I had those pieces! I wanted to get finished, so I just used what I had. |

Creating a roof that works well on the round towers is always a challenge. I think your approach is unique and will probably spawn some more ideas from it. Good job! |

When I look back at your earliest creations, I am amazed at how your skills have grown. The curved tower in this looks very nice, and flooring such a form is no mean feat, not to mention roofing it with such a clever technique. Very nice work!
Yes, I'm amazed at myself too. |

Nice!! I really like the roof. I also like the round tower! I have always wanted to make a round castle tower, except for the fact that my collection of gray round 1x1's isn't even close to 25. I need to bricklink. xD |

Very interesting roof! With a little polishing it could be very useful.
Yeah, It's the only way I could find to make a semi-round roof. It's not all that sturdy, but it gets the job done. |
