30 years of lego. My collection of official models with a few mocs and mods. People who follow my Mocs (Thanks guys :) will be familiar with most of these but there are a few that I haven’t posted yet (including a mini Slave 1). I started playing with Lego Technic aged 4 or 5 years old but in the last year I have started playing with Lego System (maybe the wrong way round but hey its all Lego). Over the last 30 years I have had several dark ages but I hope to be back for good this time. I have really enjoyed being on Mocpages and sharing comments and creations with everyone. Builders that inspire me the most are; Nathanael Kuipers , Nick Barrett, Firas, Ryan Link, R.H (Senator Chincilla), Ape Fight, Chris Roach……. I take inspiration from many many more builders too - check out my favourite builders list. I have also made some good online friends; Joost Cumps, Thomas Beyl, Brickguy Prime, Hunter Russ, and of course my best friend (in the real world) De Tomaso Pantera to name a few, all excellent builders too. I hope you all enjoy this selection of Random Randomness. THERE IS NO NEED TO RATE but I would love to hear your comments. So can you ever have too much Lego?

Hey Joe, we get along real well and compliment each other so well, I especially loved your comment in my TRIBUTE to HEATHER I am thinking,
I am visiting LONDON in October I am staying with friends...my friend Lee lost her 47 year old son to cancer in Thailand. I feel I must go we know each other 30 years! I love Brighton, Bristol and Bath... been to the UK 6 times! I am a big EastEnders fan. We could set up a private club page so we can exchange info!
IF YOU WANT! Just a thought! |

Did you know you get a like (and me in lmy mocs)every time we do a comment? :-)
The car is a Citroen AX! It is really great to drive, (with a 1400cc about 110HP), but unluckely, the motor is dead now... Car slalom is Belgian's sheepest way to do Car rally. You are supposed to navigate between gates, made of plastic tubes. Zou have to ride in between them, without touching, or missing a gate. Crazy fun at about 30MPH, a two minute joy with a heart-rate of 170 beats a minute.
If you find this interesting : www.vas.be. Click on "fotos en video's" in the left, then in the right column scroll down to : "Bietenslalom 14.8.2011" and you can choose to see the pictures, or even a video is there (the 24.1MB has a stint of myself in it).
As you allready guessed, I drive a Blue AX, with number 3. (33 and 333 is the same care, but with my father-in-law and a cousin). If you take the pictures from "Tongeren" we're driving number 8, 88, and 888 (I'm 8) |

Hi Joe!, I'm fine, thank you. Especially now it is weekend (with a beautiful whether in Belgium) and two days no work ahead. How are you? I want to congratulate you on your victory and the MO third round, really deserved that! (but I was pretty sure when I saw your opponents. That was also a nice moc, but yours is so much more). Is there allready a winner known between Tom and Nick? Those entries are a much closer call in my opinion, I wouldn't dare to bet any money . |

First, thanks for the kind mention. Second, it's NOT POSSIBLE to have too much Lego! I like how you've organized yours - mine's not quite so tidily arranged and *ahem* there may be more of it! I'm very jealous of your F1 collection... I only have the Silver Champion and that's a lovely model. Ape's idea of meeting up sounds like fun, I'll keep an eye on the threads in BBA. |
|
|
Oh and I'm glad to see the 8674 1:8 F1 Ferrari in your collection. (No surprise as an F1 fan) Maybe you already know, but I designed that. :D |
|
|
First of all thanks for mentioning me as a source of inspiration.:) Now I'm going to be the odd one here by bluntly stating that I actually believe that it is possible for someone to have too much LEGO. It's likely that a newbie would be overwhelmed with all the possibilities when confronted with too many parts to choose from. Also in my case I can say that I perform better and come up with more creative solutions, once I have certain restrictions and am limited in my resources. So I believe that the more limitations we are confronted with, the more innovative we get, and that's for me what it's all about. Just think outside of that box. |

P.S. I'm much younger than you, so I guess I've still got plenty of years to get a bigger collection. ;)
Thanks. I am jealous of your age haha but age does have some advantages - lots of Lego :) |

well, it is impossible to have too much lego. The only problem would be not to have enough space to store it in! Oh, a very nice selection of racecars you have by the way :-) |
|

No you can't have to much, and I boy do I have something to say to who erver said other wise! |

I saw this earlier today, but I didn't bother to click into it because I didn't think it was your MOC - I didn't recognize your presentation. :) Man! You have no idea how jealous I am. Man! look as those sets! You have the SUV Gullwing, Lamborghini Police car, and tons of Lego Ferrari sets! Gee, and I look at what I (or I suppose you could say what my siblings and I have) and I'm like "What!? That's it?" I've only got 2 racer sets: the Enzo and a F430 Spider (it's not even complete!). -Jealous Lego Builder Junior :) |

I must say, I keep my models build up, I have a spare attic-room with built-in closets were I can keep them away from the light. The big models like the F1 don't stand on their wheels but on sort of a frame. From the past (when kept plain in the open, most of the decals of my F1 are crumbeled away :-( But, I 'm not showing your system to my spouse, she definitely will say : why can't you keep you lego in such a clean way :-) |

Already seen it lol apparently you "can" have too much of a good thing but this does not apply with Lego. There is such a thing as having too much mess, I've been so busy building that my Legoboratory looks like a messy kids bedroom. I think I spied something I haven't seen before, next to your "new" off roader, looks like a cross between a bird an a bike from what I can see :) Very Nice collection beautifully organised.
