My entry for the MocOlympics Round 1!
About this creation
Summer this year for the mid-west US (Yes, now you know where I live) was unbelievably hot, reaching over 100 degrees 50+ times! So naturally when I saw "summer" I thought of a bare desert in the sweltering heat, and everything else fell into place. Link to the MocOlympics Homepage!
As the man struggles through the hot land he sees a nice pool of water with plants of vegetation, and a nice shady tree. He can't believe his eyes!... And he shouldn't. The sweltering heat has caused a mirage, and it's all in his head to his dismay!
Here is the 'desert' side of the Moc, complete with a skeleton man and cow skull. But of course, what hot stretch of land would be complete without a cactus or a vulture?
On this side is the mirage, with a pool of water, tree, and a vending machine full of goodies with a very convenient quarter on top.
The vending machine works!!
An aerial shot of the entire Moc. I really would've loved to add more detail, but I started algebra. (Bad timing, huh?)

Solid build with nice details! By going with the desert scene, your build made me thirsty, but didn't make me really think of Summer. Good luck in the MIT! |

Not the prettiest of Mocs but an excellent idea. I feel for you having to live in that heat, i couldn't bare that! Really cool mirage and i bet the man was gutted :) |
