MocOlympics Round 1
Category: EARTH
About this creation
MocOlympics home page

The Birth of new Earth! I've been wanting to try a volcano cross section for ages and this seemed like the perfect chance. The secondary outlet on the left side was a real pain to get right, there's some weird alignment/geometry stuff going on in there that didn't seem to make sense...

Earlier version with a small problems with the start of the secondary tunnel:

You may now all call me the SAM STOSUR of the MocOlympics!

Looks great! Very educational take on the category :) Just saw that we are paired up in round 2. Whatever the category may be, I'm ready to be taken to school ;)

The Thunder from Down Under, going to R2! This is one of the more creative builds I've seen in a long while. This begs people to go back to the drawing board with their own creations, as do many of your works. You should have received a higher score though.

Shan, my man, this is an awesome entry and therefore deserves a total score of 40. And even if you look like Gollum sometimes, you made it to round 2. Congratulations.

Well, I had to look up SAM STOSUR.....and SAM STOSUR you are not. However, that doesn't mean I wouldn't cop a feel...which is exactly the reason I suspect you slipped out of the building at BW. LMFAO Excellent cut away and great layering! Good luck with the judges buddy!

Awesome, very original. It's actually very direct to the category, but no one thought of it, excellent job.The build is phenomenal, it has quite a few layers of earth, but instead of using only one sole color, you used many other colors, very real to life. However i think the trans-red pillar of lava would be better if it had more variations of color, however, this is sufficient enough to get you to not just round 1 but 3 great job.

Lovely Job mate, makes me think of cake... mmm, volcanic cake.... Lining up the various layers looks like it could have been a total pain so congrats on a good-looking job.

Wow, the angles in there look as if they could have been beastly to create. I love how you did this though, with the multiple strata and the lava bubbling up from a cave below. Great work and good luck!
