My entry for the 2011 Moc Olympics three floating islands with a stream flowing through them. On the large island there is a dwarf fishing near his little hut. Inside the hut is a fireplace and a little bed. At the top of the stream is a little spring where the water bubbles up.

James, Great take on water. The floating island/multi level waterfall idea was great. You did a really good job on the pond and the waterfalls, but the mix-match of colors and the flat terrain was distracting to the concept. Thank you for sharing your take on the categories. ~Dave |

I’m not going to sugarcoat it: With your score of 22 you didn’t make it to round 2 this year. BUT Hans Dendauw (Swarley Stinson) has something up his sleeve for everybody between place 65 and 128: The 2011 MIT tournament (MOCpages Invitational Tournament) where you and the other 63 contestants have the chance to win another great prize. Check it out and good luck: http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/18342 |

Now that's something you don't see everyday! Floating rocks connected by a waterfall, good riddance. Good luck with your judges! |

Nice job there. Is that your duck design or was it inspired by someone?
I remember seeing it somewhere about a year ago on Flickr or maybe brickshelf so it was inspired |

This is good but not great, but it is a good idea and effort. There are a few too many colours going on and makes it look a bit messy, also i really don't think that Dwarfs hair goes well with his beard, it looks very weird. Good Luck with the contest |
