My own LEGO® version of the PPK!

About this creation

Like the Škorpion, the PPK is another quick model that I built in preparation for the upcoming BrickCon convention. Possibly the smallest gun model that I will ever construct, the PPK (which stands for “Polizei Pistole Kriminal” or Criminal Police Pistol) was fun to build and lent itself well to LEGO modeling; most of the angles were easily duplicated with LEGO slope elements, and the small gun allowed insertion of fine details without becoming too fragile. The model is designed after the post-WWII variant of the PPK in black, and features line-up gunsights, a moving safety switch, and removable finger extension on the bottom of the grip; I also designed the barrel to allow the attachment of a James Bond-style suppressor (reference for the suppressor is derived from IMFDB.org).

[Overall Dimensions: 6.13” long; 11.75” long (with suppressor); ~1.25” wide; 4.25” high (from top of gunsights to bottom of grip). Total Weight: 0.24 lbs. First completed on September 8, 2011.

Excellent! I think I've commented this before... But do you have any ACR Bushmaster lengths? I can't find them anywhere and I'm planning to build it next! I would really appreciate if you would give ones! And do you have any upcoming projects? I'm willing to hear if! : D -Square thingy

Itai Tavor recently pointed out to me that I omitted the characteristic curve on the PPK that extends from the trigger guard to the bottom of the muzzle, which may be the reason why you think it resembles a PP; I've now fixed this issue and hope to post updated photos of the model soon.
