Lots of really nice areas here (the lawnmower was a personal fav)! I think if the build would have been just a little bit "cleaner" things may have gone differently for your score. I did really like it! ~ Chris. |

I think you captured summer great. Nothing says summer like BBQ, mowing the lawn, and the pool! It looks like my backyard where I grew up. I think you were underscored and feel you should have been ranked higher. |

Now for a real comment. Nice setting here, with all the elements one would expect in a summer scene. Well built! |

Mr. Hook, You had a great idea and lots of cool details. In the end, everything seemed really disconnected. Maybe if you made it a backyard with a fence or didn't put everything on the same baseplate it would have worked better. Thank you for sharing your take on the categories. ~Dave |

Hey, nice build with some cool details. I have to admit, when I saw the main pic, I thought he was in a graveyard.....where IS my mind? ha... I think we all know where your mind is!

The fences on the porch are interesting. Same thing goes for the legs of the BBQ. You have some good techniques and creative parts usage! Good luck with your judges. |

We had a pool like that when I was a kid. Loved it, used to jump off the fence into it. Nice build, the lawnmower and BBQ are really cute. |

Nice work! I like how you did the pool, the tree, and the BBQ grill. My only suggestion would be to add some details to that plain green baseplate like tiles, rocks, bushes etc. ya I felt like it was a little empty there to

Overall a very good job. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is the hot tub. It seems a little tall and the blue slopes on the water seem odd. I'm guessing that is water bubbling up from the jets. Probably a better way to do that would be loose 1x1 round plates in white, clear, blue and trans blue (or at least IMO FWIW). It's an above ground pool... and the one is supposed to be like he just did a dive or cannonball or something.
