everytime you open the door, all the air will flow outside...
Airlock added. Thanks for the kick-in-the-bricks!

There's no...toilet?!!
Now there is! I added an airlock module with a toilet built in. Thanks for the motivation! |

Very beautiful neo classic space station. The mix between modern parts and 80's architecture is well balanced. I'm going back 30 years ago. Great MOC!! |

Hehe ! I'm not sure your tanks are big enough, or it's a very small planet ?
I was referring an artificial life support atmosphere INSIDE the sealed outpost. |

but it's still a step up from all the open-vacuum Classic Space designs by TLG, right?
Oh yes, I agree completely !

At least this base is capable of creating an artificial atmosphere.

I think there is a small problem with your base: everytime you open the door, all the air will flow outside...
Yes, I know. I was unable to come up with a good playable airlock design with the parts available. So, you just have to make sure your buddies inside have their helmets on when you decide to open the door... but it's still a step up from all the open-vacuum Classic Space designs by TLG, right? At least this base is capable of creating an artificial atmosphere.

There's no...toilet?!!
Unfortunately not, and no shower either. I was working on a bathroom extension above the external tanks, ultimately decided it was too awkward and clunky. I also justified it by decided that the standard space suit is designed to collect bodily waste for filtration and recycling of water (like the still-suits in Dune) and disposal of solid waste. You don't want to know how that works! |

I'm glad to see that you are expanding your builds into bases and not only vehicles (you even created a new folder for these !). I like it very much, in particular the very nice rotating door. But I think there is a small problem with your base: everytime you open the door, all the air will flow outside... Apart from that, it's a very nice little base, very nostalgic, which could have been an offical set 25 years ago ! (OMG, I'm so old !) |

This is very well detailed but the only problem I see is that I can't see a specified place to eat. Besides that, it's a nice build and the Building has a great design |

So, you're expanding into space buildings now? ;) Great work! I love the shape of the building, but the icing on the cake are all those little details you worked into your creation. Really well done! |

looks great! like a real functional little space base with a building and a landing platform! |
|
|
Nice classic and very playable. It would be better if you made the terrain yourself instead of using those bases |

Nice and classic Jono! Cozy little outpost... |
|
|
Very nice model, could easily be a genuine second generation Classic Space model, the flip roof for access is a thoughtful touch and I'm loving the assymetrical door - entrances on space models are always a challenge. If it were me I'd make the beds and seats a contrasting colour (1st gen CS used yellow, 2nd blue) to stand out but on the whole love it, think I might try to copy it as I have almost all those pieces at home! |

This is pretty neat. I like the building, and it's cool that the top flips up, making it a bit more playable. The landing area is a nice touch as well. |
