My entry into the LOTR Trilogy Contest, and also probably my last creation before the MOCOlympics.

About this creation

I chose to do the scene from the third novel, in which Gollum dances off of the walk into Mount doom in glee at having taken the Ring from Frodo. Here are the two hobbits watching Gollum during his fall.

Here is Gollum as he falls into the fires of his demise. The idea of using Frankenstein’s Monster’s head was that of the Fisherman.

Here is a picture of the magma and some of the rocks.

And for Ian Spacek, here is the slight overhang I mentioned, hopefully it is passable.

I love how frodo and sam are all "whatever" and Gollum is all ticked of like he forgot to pay his mortgage for a year. But great Gollum design

Thanks for the suggestion! I forgot that Frodo got his finger bitten off in the book, but he was not hanging off the edge as William suggested. Seeing as it isn't in the group yet, I will take your suggestion and alter the figures.

Great job, But as others have said, Frodo had his finger bitten off and so would not be just standing there watching. Sam also would be comforting his master where he lay. Great build though, and you have a good chance (This comes from a judge)!

As I said before, this vignette represents the scene in the book, in which Gollum dances off of the walk into Mount Doom, not having been wrestled off the edge.

Also, Frodo isn't smiling, and Sam would be smiling in relief at the end of Frodo's suffering.
