Nui-Long, the Great Dragon( Nui = maori for big,great; Long = chinese for dragon) is the keeper of the elemental balance in the world.
About this creation
Yeah, the backstory is pretty much that...
So, this one was kinda of an experiment, and, as you can see, very different from the style I'm used to build.
Its body structure, from tail to neck, is all built in the "socket+socket+socket" method, wich allows a good amount of flexibilty, but not a very strong structure(its darn hard to pose his head without it bending down), but all-in-all its a good technique...
The colorfulness of it was not exactly intended(I was going to keep only with the blue, yellow and white), but in the end, due to alck of pieces, and to make it 'brighter', I added that yellow-to-red gradient in the end... Dont' know if its too much color, but I'm pretty satisfied with it...
Don't know its exact lenght, buts its about 1 meter, a bit more...

This is fantastic! I think the colors are perfect, and the design inspired. The hind legs are smallish but do not distract from the creature overall. 5/5 |

totaly awesome! i like how it really looks like a dragon i tried somthing simalar to what you did and it didn't work out very well it looked like a worm with tiny legs. |

Agreeing with Yuri, it has a bit too many colors. The white doesn't blend to the whole too well, so without that it would've been a bit more functional color scheme in my opinion. Also I have to point out the little 'mistake' that appears on the backleg structure bit too often in my opinion in dragon/beast mocs. It's simply that it's double jointed and backward bended, which looks just... wrong. You'd need to add an extra joint to the upper part of the backleg and bend it forward. Other than that, great :) I'm aware of the back legs 'mistake, but I can assure it was intentional(I'm actually quite used to complain about this mistakes on beasts legs). The thing is most eastern dragon do have legs bended that way(I've done a research before building), like an eagles's leg. Thanks for commenting, btw.

yeah, the white pieces were kinda of a last resource, I was running out of sockets... I could have sued some black, but I think white is a bit more...'alive'.
