The 717 Special Ops(AKA. Lightning Squad)was a division of the 501st legion,it goes for specialized reconaissance missions and consists of eight members:Hawk,Longshot,Wraith,Evo,Nix(pilot),Wrecker(gunner) and two other troopers. They are a very skilled and well known legion.They are also known for their use of the LAAT/L gunships.Though they are not in the lead of a specific Jedi,they can still take on an army of droids without one live lost of its members.Each member is unique and is skilled with a spesific type of stradegy.

The leader of the 717 Special Ops,CC-3659(Commander Hawk).He is a very skilled clone and well fit for battle.He is considered as a clone among the highest ranks.

Their Heavy weapons clone trooper,who has great skill using his chaingun,and has a great knowledge of both republic and separatist weaponry,CC-2627(Wraith).

Their best Sniper,who never misses his shot,CC-1177(Longshot).

Their Jet trooper,who is gifted in evation,CC-5273(Evo).
