This is a "Non-Canon" starfighter of my own design. The TIE/xt was a prototype starfighter created some time after the Battle of Endor. It's primary role was to be a superior fighter the Empire could use to regain control of the galaxy. It was disigned to not only have superior firepower than that of the X-Wing, but also be able to travel across the galaxy without needing assistance from a carrier ship because they were fitted with a hyperdrive and two Incom 4L4 sublight engines clones wich were coped by the empire from captured X-Wing fighters. Though these were not mass-produced and used in large-scale battle,(mostly because of the shear fact that they were too expensive to produce for the dwindling Empire,) Several saw use under the orders of Grand Admiral Thrawn in secret Imperial missions. Several of the features of this craft made it superior to any TIE series fighter ever produced, One such feature was its size, it was extremely compact and nearly doubles the amount that could be fit in a larger ship's hangar. Another feature was the over-all maneuverability and speed in space and atmospheres which most TIE series fighters lacked in.
