This is a "Non-Canon" starfighter of my own design.
The TIE/xt was a prototype starfighter created some time after the Battle of Endor. It's primary role was to be a superior fighter the Empire could use to regain control of the galaxy. It was disigned to not only have superior firepower than that of the X-Wing, but also be able to travel across the galaxy without needing assistance from a carrier ship because they were fitted with a hyperdrive and two Incom 4L4 sublight engines clones wich were coped by the empire from captured X-Wing fighters.
Though these were not mass-produced and used in large-scale battle,(mostly because of the shear fact that they were too expensive to produce for the dwindling Empire,) Several saw use under the orders of Grand Admiral Thrawn in secret Imperial missions.
Several of the features of this craft made it superior to any TIE series fighter ever produced, One such feature was its size, it was extremely compact and nearly doubles the amount that could be fit in a larger ship's hangar.
Another feature was the over-all maneuverability and speed in space and atmospheres which most TIE series fighters lacked in.

I love the TIE. Great detail on the interior. I will post the interior pics of mine soon. Great work on the Solar Collectors. I especially like the Engines mounted on the outside back of the pilons. Looks like it can perform well in an atmosphere as well as in space. |

This ship has no technical way its supposed to look, but no matter that, it looks really good. The lines are smooth and there are no structural details sticking out, a job well done. Also, if you have some extra time please examine my newest rendition of the v-wing, here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/285772
Another point is that I think there are other actual tie fighters out there that had a similar purpose and lifespan as yours, I recommend checking wookieepedia to see that.
Thank you for the feedback! Yeah there are several other TIEs that are similar but this was an experimental one that I made up so it could fit into the expanded universe in some way. It does have some similarities as other TIEs per the information given on Wookieepedia but this is totally one I made up. |

This is so cool! The design is amazingly well thought out. Love the curved slopes that hold the wings up. Very well done! 5/5
I really like how the sloped areas came out also. I figured it out originally when I built my TIE avenger a while back (Due to the system crash, it is not back up yet.)You will notice that technique in upcoming mocs as well. Thanks for the feedback! :) |

Michael K said what I was thinking. The way you brought the angle between the cockpit and the wings are wonderful. Truly a great build. I wish more SW builds were like this instead of simple clone vignettes. Thank you! I feel the same way about some of the clone stuff. You see them so much that even the good ones aren't very special anymore. TCW is cool and all but it has been so played out that it has turned a lot of SW builders off from the theme enirely.
