My Grader
Stephen's Construction Grader
About this creation
This is your common construction grader. Adapted from another cool MOC I saw (I give the credit to him), it looks from a distance like an actual grader with its grading shovel. Itís great for my city of Bricksburg! PIECES: Approx. 85. TIME TO BUILD: 15 minutes.

Cool MOC! I like the way you used hinged bricks for the frame.

I like the straight forward build. I think the 4 wide engine compartment might look more realistic in 2 or 3 wide though. I've tried a few starts on my own, but never can seem to get a good balance. Real life graders always seem to look like they're about ready to fall over because of the ability to tilt the front wheels from side to side. Standard lego wheel assemblies would benefit from some sort of technic arrangement. I've also tried doing the front "beam" in 1 wide. Seems like most of the MOCs scale up the whole machine to make a two wide beam appear more balanced.
