Peter, your Ships are so BEAST, m8. The shapes I see are so much more evocative than mine at the age I devoted so much to this genre. It's nice to see someone with your skill applying what you know to 'break-the-brick' and pull off organic curves and irregular module positions with a medium that used to scream 'slope-flat-slope-flat'. BEAUTIFUL work, man. Cheers~ |

Despite its slight excess of vertical symmetry, this is an excellent build. |

Wonderfully unique design. I love the color scheme and the giant cockpit opening. I could certainly use a couple of these the protect my cargo ship, the Flying Rhino. |

Btw, excellent work with the snot, your going all over the place on this one...in a good way. Did you see Kevin J Walter's and Giovanne Seynhaeve's Wraith Hive ships earlier this week? Here http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/284203 and here http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/284201 good example of the studless(or close to studless anyway) and studded. Both of these guys are skilled up the wazoo, and did a great job. I suppose it really is just style and preference. As for the hyperlink to Flickr, did you use the <a href> to link to my mocpages homepage? It would be the same thing except you'd copy and paste my flickr page in there instead. It's not a big deal, just voicing some frustration over how vacant my page is, thought you could relate as we're in the same boat. |

Cheers buddy! Quite blown away by the concept. A culmination of some great and increasing skills. Definitely your best...well, in my humble opinion! (Edit after the post) I think I saw a post of yours a while back where you want more serious feedback, here's what I got to say. Studless! Studless! Studless! Hey man, you have this great style that's evolving and I don't want to get in the way of that, studless isn't everyone's preference...also your function is light years ahead of mine, I know It's hard sometimes to master the 2 into one...If you gotta sacrifice your individual style to do that...don't do it. However, from my standpoint, its the holy grail...Hahah until we get there...then it changes to something else. Cheers again and good building to you!
Hey again Buddy. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I have been waiting for someone to give me some good advice and finally I have it, LOL!!! That helps alot and yes I am trying really hard to prefect the SNOT tech and yes I know I really need to work on not having the studs. Ill have to invest in some tiles. As for my style I won't change that so don't worry, it's like selling out in my opinion, not gonna do that. Im trying to nail my theme down with the book Im trying to write. So that is why alot my ship designs have that organic / elemental look to it. Again thanks buddy for the pointers. I don't care if they are hard pointers if they help they help. Cheers Ced... |

Fantastic effects, and the ship's shape and functionality are great! I'd add a bit more SNOT though, those studs are a bit distracting from how awesome the rest of the ship is.
Thanks Cody. Yeah I am still experimenting with the SNOT. But I plan on getting better with it. As for the studs, yeah your right Ill have to do better in getting rid of them. I guess till next build. Thanks for the pointer, always welcome them. |

Awesome, Dude! Great job on those pics, but the ship turned out really well! Never thought of doing that with the windshields, good idea.
Yeah you know how it is. Sitting and designing and a idea hits you like a ton of bricks. I guess that was my windshield design. I'm just glad it turned out, wasn't sure if it was. Thanks again El Barto for all the help this past year. Really helped alot with the photo editing. |
