Previously on I Choose You!, Caleb infiltrated the Island Base and gained a few Pokeballs of unknown origin, but raised the alarm in the process. D and Jaeger managed to enter the Mt. Moon base undetected, hoping to find some answers by following the sound of machinery. Leon succeeded in hijacking a Team Rocket catamaran loaded with cargo, but he failed to find means of opening the containers. Thus our story continues...
About this creation
Caleb: This should slow down those Rocket goons. Probably another Geodude or something, ready to selfdestruct. Heheheh...
Caleb throws the Pokeball behind him and it opens around the corner.
Rocket Grunt: Huh? What's this? Get this stupid Charmander back to the Laboratory!
Caleb: Oh,...!
Meanwhile...
Jaeger: Come on, let's go check out what's making that noise.
Jaeger: What the heck is that?
D: Looks like some sort of mining operation.
Jaeger: Look at those weird stones they're uncovering. I wonder what they are...
D: Well, whatever they are, they're not doing us any good. I'll take that wrench, if you don't mind.
Jaeger: Hey!
D chucks the wrench across the cave, directly towards the mining vehicle.
The wrench gets caught in something important and the machine begins to smoke and sputter.
D: Time to go.
Jaeger: Wha-?
Jaeger: What the heck was that all about?
D: Team Rocket will be focused on fixing their machine and not on us if we keep quiet. Now hurry up!
The two trainers come to a computer room, occupied by a single scientist.
Scientist: Huh? Oh dear...
The scientist runs off, terrified of the trainers.
Jaeger: He's fast. Shouldn't we chase him?
D: Whoa, there's more to this outpost than we thought.
Exactly, this place is probably crawling with thugs. We should stop that guy before he raises the alarm.
D: Hold on, he left his server up. We might be able to find something.
Jaeger: I don't think we have time...
Meanwhile...
Leon: Here we are, Vermillion City. I hope my parking job wasn't too conspicuous...
Pirate: Arr! Be those the engines of a catam-ARR!an?
Leon: Um...
Pirate: The name is Heath, and this be my dock. Team Rocket just pulled a major heist in a ship like that, but I can see y-ARR! not from Team Rocket.
Leon: Actually, I just ran into some Team Rocket members recently. This be -er, is, their ship. I was looking for someone who could help me open their cargo.
Heath: Well, we have a young pirate in ARR! midst. Let's take a look at yer plunder.
Leon: ...
Heath: ARR!mored crates, these be tough treasure chests to crack! I'll help ye open them. C-ARR!ful, they be heavy.
Leon: So, how are we going to get it open?
Heath: With sheer, brute strength. And Pokemon.
Heath: Go, Gravel-ARR!
Heath: Now, where be me spade?
Heath: Okay, Gravel-ARR! Heave, ye pitiful sea pebble!
The door breaks open, spilling the contents.
Heath: OOF!
Leon: You did it!
Heath: No booty be safe from the hook of Heath! Gahaha!
Leon: AFOLs, sigh...
Leon: So what are these things?
Heath: They be transf-ARR!mers, fer boostin' voltage.
Leon: How do you know that?
Heath: This be Vermillion City, lad! Even us pirates know a thing or two about electricity! Take my buddy Bluebeard, he's got an electrical engineering degree and works in tech supp-ARR!t when he's not plundering.
Leon: Right...
Heath: Whatever Team Rocket be planning, it's going to use a lot of pow-ARR! Luckily, I know how to counter it.
Leon: How?
Heath: Ground type Pokemon. But ye can't have me Gravel-ARR!, so I'll give ye the next best thing. Higher voltage.
Leon: A thunder stone?!
Heath: Now, go and plunder those landlubbers of th-ARR! evil plot! And remember, don't trust anyone.
Leon: Thank you, I won't forget y-ARR!, *cough* your, kindness.
WOOP! WOOP!
Officer Jenny: This is VCPD! Stop right there!
Leon: Great, that's what I get for hanging out with bloody pirates.
Jenny: Kid, is that your vehicle?
Leon: Um...
Leon: I'm kind of borrowing it.
Jenny: You stole it back from Team Rocket, didn't you? They stole a bunch of transformers and power cells from Vermillion City just yesterday. We're in your debt, kid.
Leon: Right, that was my plan all along...
Jenny: It's funny though, because they came by water, and we weren't expecting that. Usually Team Rocket hangs out in those mountains over there. They've probably got a hideout in there somewhere, but I haven't been able to get a warrant to search that area.
Leon: Hmm...
Meanwhile...
Caleb: I have to get my Charmander back! I have to!
Caleb arrives at a very strange looking scene.
Hazmat Guy: We just got a new shipment of Pokemon, and they're pretty strong. Luckily we have these transformers to boost our voltage. We were expecting more, but they're late, as usual.
Sealed off in a white room is a Pinsir, looking confused and defiant.
Hazmat Guy: Firing Psychomorphic radiation beam, now.
The room darkens and strange lights began to dance about. The Pinsir seems to be in a great deal of pain.
The lights return to normal, but the Pinsir is very different. It seems calm, but with a hint of cold, heartless evil.
Rocket Grunt: Well, well, it looks like we have a visitor.
Caleb: Where is my Charmander, you thugs!
Hazmat Guy: Pinsir, Team Rocket orders you to dispatch this... pest.
The door hisses open and the Pinsir steps out.
Bug type, huh? Big mistake. Go, Tentacool!
Grunt: Ooh, he's got a friend, does he? Let's tip the scales in our favor. Go, Psyduck!
Pinsir lifts Tentacool in the air with its claws and squeezes.
Tentacool, being rather squishy, slips out of the deadly grip and poisons Pinsir badly.
Caleb: All right, Tentacool! Finish him off with constrict! Wait, what?
Grunt: Psyduck, use confusion! Heheheheh!
Psyduck's relentless psychic attacks keep Tentacool on the ground long enough for Pinsir to recover from its venemous wounds.
Caleb: Tentacool's getting killed out there! He needs help.
Caleb: I probably will regret this. If I live, that is. Go, Pokeball!
Caleb: Whoa, a Magneton! Let's hope it doesn't selfdestruct on me. Magneton, use Thunder!
The Magneton, apparently used to taking orders from a variety of people, fries the enemy Pokemon without any trouble.
Hazmat Guy: Let's get outta here!
Grunt: Right behind you!
Magneton, quiet after the battle, begins to sense some sort of power source nearby.
Caleb: Huh? Where is that thing going?

Okay, choice time! You know the drill, only those in the CYOA can choose. If you don't like how things are going, or if you have tips on how to improve my CYOA, join the planning group. There's a link in the right margin of the page.
D and Jaeger: A scientist just flew the coop, and he will probably raise the alarm. You don't know how far he has to run for help, but he's fast. Catching him would require no hesitation. But, he left his computer up, all sorts of files could be on it. You might be able to find out where your Pokemon are. You can:
A) Chase the scientist
B) Look for information on the computer
Leon: An officer just told you that there is Team Rocket activity in some nearby mountains. You know for sure though that there is a base on a nearby island. Also, a somewhat deranged pirate just gave you a thunder stone. You could evolve your Eevee. You can:
A) Go back to the Island base
B) Go on to the mountains and look for a base there
AND you can:
1)Evolve Eevee into Jolteon
2)Wait to evolve Eevee
Caleb: The Rocket Grunts went off to the right, and the Magneton you sent out is heading left. You can:
A) Head after the Rocket Grunts and look for answers, which means you'll probably find trouble as well
B) Go after Magneton to see what it is being lured to. It could be interesting.

Ok, transf-ARR!mers were amoung the last things i expected to be in that box, and it saddens me that i must say goodbye to Heath :( Well anyways my choiceS (2 choices, i feel so special!) are to go back to the island (minus well take advantage of the key) and im going to evolve it (Jolteon is far superior to Eevee stat wise, and the Eeveelution i wanted anyways) |

I'd look for info and hide, later on strategicaly choose battle. Excellent work on those new pokemon! I've been making a few myself, but never took pictures... Next compilation will probably have hypno, golduck, exeggcute and xatu... But there is no definite choice yet, I only have designs for those. |
