In the ever evolving battlefield of modern warfare some old designs just dont cut it anymore. Most vehicles evolve to suit the needs of the army instead of becoming obsolete. For Belka the APC has evolved with its increasing use of hover lift vehicles. The Type 71 Valkyrie apc is invulnerable to nearly all types of land mines. Its protected by two feet of synthetic armor thats three times as strong as steel titanium. The super light material gives the vehicle a wheight of only thirty six tons. The vehicles primary weapons system is usually a anti aircraft system. It consists of a 100mm automatic anti aircraft cannon, and four multirole guided missiles. The powerful topsecret hydrogen thrusters allow the vehicle to hover up to ten feet above the ground. Its able to carry up to ten people at a time, and has a rack for there weapons. the men pictured here are all part of the Belkan Space Korps. Since 2070 they have worn what was once spec ops gear. Its now the common uniform for all the Korps.
About this creation

the four multi role missiles are powerfull enough to destroy medium armor, or trail a mach 4 aircraft for up to seven miles. These type of weapons were soon obsolete due to advances in anti ballistics. the main cannon could destroy an aircraft anywhere in a two mile radius.

all three of my curret Belkan sifi vehicles. The type 82 grim reaper can be seen here.
As you can see the Valkyrie is bigger than the reaper, but it would not compare to the sheer force of the reapers main cannon

the two top hatches can also open so infantry can get out. I didnt add photos of this though.

the minigun can be seen here. Its high rate of fire added extra protection for enimies that got to close. tthe two main intakes provided as much power as the reaper.

The exaust can be seen here. Its power made it increadibly fast (up to 400mph) allowing it to evade enimies. It also made it able to cross water barriers, tank traps, and possibly even lava flows, although thats never been tested.

The crew can be seen here. They were well protected, and were comfortable.

Nice work on these man, its not often I see a 'hover' vehicle design that actually looks serviceable but these creations are fantastic. I'd love to see a slightly cleaner interior for the APC, maybe some troop benches and a 'busier' control interface. Other than that these are beautiful!

Nice work, although it's kind of lacking in the smooth, solid armor that is all the rage. Try cleaning up the top a bit, that might help the flow of the MOC.

Quoting Jay Rhum That is a really original vehicle! Could I call it an hovercraft? I appreciate all the technical explanations! Good work, dude, as usual! =)
check out my other two hover vehicles, they are much better. My next two sifi mocs should be a metel gear like mech, and a hover scout car.

Quoting corey lopez Most of the time, size doesn't matter. Then again, the bigger the gun, the more carnage. That aside, the apc is nice and it looks well protected so the pilot/ soldiers seem more safe. My other thought tho, mind the fact it looks and is deadly, wouldn't a more light weight apc get troops to the fight faster. But I guess the biggest factor is destination and terrain.
For its size it is light wieght. If it was made out of composite armor it would weigh over 100 tons. its quite light for a huge vehicle. An M1 abrams is half the size and weighs 60 tons. Its massive engines can lift this vehicle with ease. Also its a hover vehicle so terrien is not a factor.
