This is the first of a series of Superhero-MOCs that I (hopefully) will do in the near future.
My main focus is on our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, since he has always been my most favourite superhero since early childhood (nevertheless, there’s also room for Anole).

:o Amazing work on that hand! But wait, how come that hand looks like a real hand? I wonder what it would look like as a giant lego hand...
When I started with the concept for this MOC, I asked myself the same question. I decided to build a real hand because it looks more interesting. |

Impressive! Having not read the comics, I only know Spiderman from the last three films, and this looks exactly like something that could have happened! Sandman is excellent, and his hand is terrific. The facade is truly amazing, and the brickwork looks fantastic. I like how you include details like the gutter, dumpster, and fire escape, they add much visual appeal. Great work! |

Very well done, though I kept returning to the Arm aspect, I had my ideas on how you managed to keep the Arm in place, but before I posted this, I Crt+F the page for Arm and found how you managed to connect the Arm to the firs escape, nice idea and nice execution on the perspectives of the photos to keep that aspect elusive. Again, nice work. |

Nice job on the TBB mention with this one, I think Nannan could have given you a better review than 'The usage of 1X2 bricks and tiles mimics the realistic look of the buildings.' An imaginative build with an unimaginative blog mention. That always bugged me, you deserved better (though the brickwork is nice!). I also NEED to tell you that I am excited to see what you have in store for the Green Goblin, thank you in advance for not using the official LEGO one! |

Nice trick on the giant hand connecting to the fire escape, but (one) 1X8??? How'd you manage that? I guess some things just work. Also, love the last pic for Spidey. It looks just like it would on the older TV show. BTW, fave villian of ANYTHING is The Lizard. I really like the concept. When will you be attempting that? ~Lucas
Thanks for your friendly comment. Yes, a 1 x 8 plate, LEGO® can be very stable. It took me a bit to figure it out, but it worked perfectly.
Actually I've got at least 2 more Spidey-MOCs in mind, one with the Green Goblin and one with the Lizard. |

Of course it was Amazing Spider-Man! your build is excellent and captures the comic book feel expertly. I sure hope you do the Sinister Six. I'd love to see how you attached the sand arm.
Finally somebody asks, haha. As I mentioned before, there's no photoshop involved, what you see is what you get. The wrist is attached to the fire escape with one(!) 1x8 plate. That is enough. I can remove the lower part of Sandman and the hand and arm keep in place. |

Cool! I have to agree with you on that... it's just, Toby Mcguire(?) refused to renew his contract, so they're re-launching the movies next year with a new first movie.... yup, the figures. I agree, the ironman looks, err, rather awkward with the abnormally large head.... but Thor? He looks amazing. I want superman though... I've never been a decal user, so I don't print chest stickers and such, so for me to get an official one, makes me really happy... anyway, great job again, and well.... all I can say is: Let's k*ll Hitler :).... |

Amazing! You've inspired me to continue working on that batmna project I put off. Nice job with the sandman. 2 things though:
1. Are you excited for the reboot movies?
2. Which hero are you excited for next year? Superman? I know I am!
Thank you and I'm glad I could motivate you. About your questions: 1. I think these reboots come a bit fast - the last Spidey movie is only 4 years old. Nevertheless, after watching the trailer, I'll watch the new movie. 2. Do you mean in movies or the minifigs? In case you mean the minifigs, I like them all (except Iron Man with his huge mask). My favourites are probably the Hulk and Thor (since my real name is Thorsten I might change my sigfig, haha). |
