Warthog V4
Includes Machine Gun, Gauss, Rocket, Troop Transport, and Civilian variants, as well as LDD building instructions!
About this creation
My previous Warthog design has been reworked to look more like the Halo: Reach version. Fixes include increased height due to lowered wheels, and small shape and color fixes.

Length: 17.5 studs
Width: 7 studs
Height (without turret): 9 studs
Height (with Machine Gun turret): 11 studs

Instructions are available! Information and LEGO Digital Designer file download link at the bottom of the page.

Machine Gun variant

Civilian variant

Troop Transport variant

Rocket variant

Gauss variant

Instructions are available! Download link for the LEGO Digital Designer file is below.

Notes about the instructions (necessary to complete the model):
-Lime green clips should be dark bluish gray and must be the new mold.
In this image, clip on the right is the preferred clip. All other clips that are not lime green can be either the old or new mold.
-Other parts needed that are not shown: 6 minifigure hands in black. These are for the "roof" and for the gun turret.
-Flex tubing is for the turret. Click Here to view how to cut and use the tubing.
-For the machine gun turret, the BrickArms ammo chain is attached by a monopod and u-clip towards the bottom. There should be enough length of bar for the monopod to attach.
-The windshield is difficult to assemble and may seem flimsy.
-If you have questions about how to build the Warthog, try looking back at the original images for help.
-For your own sake, if you post a picture with my Warthog in it, post a link back to my Warthog just so people don't get mad at you for copying. If you're just using bits and pieces, then the link back is at your discretion.

Thanks for viewing!

Sweet! I love the Gauss variant! The cannon is spot on! And the rocket launchers are the best I've seen. Would love some close up pictures or instructions for those.

That's one of the best Warthogs on MOCpages. The design of the wind shield is really cool. Your weapons are great, but the barrel of the M41 might be a bit short.

Really nice job! I think that this is a fine [piece of art now all that you need is to make a battle some with some elites and grunts running around here and there.

Great! The gauss turret's barrel should be a bit thinner but other than that this awesome! Even has a jet engine on the back! (bumper) :)

Thanks for the feedback! I do appreciate when people actually criticize my work as well as praise it.
Quoting Cody G Well done! I don't like the gauss barrel much, but it's probably more accurate than using cylinder pieces.
I may rework the Gauss Cannon, taking Nick Rezler's suggestion from Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/nickjensen/6008785568/in/photostream The Gauss variant is my favorite Warthog, so I do want to make it as accurate as possible.
Quoting jj481012 ` Do you think you could send me a pdf of the instructions?
Probably not. Sorry man. The LDD instructions really are the way to go with this moc so that each step can be viewed in 3D.

This is a very nicely done 'hog, and my favorite parts have to be the back and the driver's seat. However, the front is a bit disappointing, it should slope forward a bit more and have a more rounded shape. I like how you worked with all of the variants, too. Great job!
