I have been working on this for awhile now and I have finally gotten around to doing a work in progress.

About this creation

As you can see I still haven't done the foundation or base. I really am building this from the top down, which I know your not supposed to do, but I don't have all the pieces yet. I also have yet to put in the windows. I am planning on putting ridges all along the roof.
I have a long ways to go and I would love some advice on what I should add.

This looks great so far! I might begin to widen the base from the point on quite a bit and I agree that putting ridges on the roof is the way to go. I can't wait to see this finished!

I don't have enough pieces for more levels but it will have a big foundation. I might add some color, but I want to keep the look just like the real castles..

Quoting Owen S. Maybe you could add shingles. It will take a lot more pieces and time, but it might pay off. Great job so far, btw ;)

My next bricklink order will contain hundreds of 1x1 plates. Btw the reason that it doesn't have a nice background is because I just moved and I still can't find my big white paper. :)
