The Moth
A steampunk aircraft piloted by Mr. James Watson, now returning to MOCpages after his stint as the captain of the airship, the Isabella.
About this creation

Mr. Watson next to his aircraft.

Notes: I felt like building something steampunk, so here it is. The cockpit of course, is a masterpiece of Lego engineering– never before have I spent twenty minutes trying to jam a minifigure into a vehicle. Grrr! Anyway, I do like the look of this little aircraft overall, but it is rather delicate, and the cockpit is, as stated earlier, a total pain, and other better greeblers than I could have done a better job on the wings.

I have another rather larger build that I haven't photographed yet, that will probably be coming within the next 1-3 weeks depending on how much post-processing I end up doing on it.

Very cool, great creation and i like the doors for wings And Watson :) Personally i would have left the greebling on the wing out, it doesn't look very aerodynamic. Still great and i love that 1st picture.

Quoting C. Alexander Clay I don't recall seeing door pieces that narrow before, but they make terrific wings!
They're from one of the Hogwarts Castles.

Quoting Mister Bones Very nice design, build and name. So, is Mr. James Watson related to the good doctor?
Not related, although probably from roughly the same era, which is why I used the name. I'm happy you've returned.
