Tornado Alley
AS SEEN AT BRICKFAIR 2011. I built this approximately one day before Brickfair, somehow managing to scrape together the pieces and time. This won Most Overlooked MOC and is featured on the Brothers Brick.
About this creation

Rather small build here, so I wont bore you with all my normal jammering. The tornado is constructed with a central technic axel and technic 1x1s/1x2s stacked onto it. There approximately 400 1x2 trans-black bricks used in giving the shape and aesthetics. Then finally I added a small micro scene to give it some life and thats it!
As always I enjoy hearing your criticism/suggestion/praise.
Thank you!

I'm having the weird experience of feeling certain I commented on this, but seeing I didn't. Well, here goes! Great work Blake. This is absolutely fantastic, especially for a one day throw-together. You've really captured the "tornado look" as it were. Very impressive, well done!

Your work never ceases to amaze me. Whether it's you subject matter, or your bold execution, everything is as close to perfect as anyone could reasonably get. I love the chaos of the twister. The clear tubing really makes it for me though. Great work!

Incredible work as always, but what really caught my eye (as it did with everyone else) is your use of books as micro roofs. Genius idea. One quite worthy of stealing.
