All of the weapons and grenades from Halo 3 and Halo Reach!
About this creation
Hi guys! It's great to be back on the pages after that crash, and just as a shoutout, I'd like to thank all of the admins and mods who were able to pull thousands of anxious mocers through the difficult time. It seems to me like the image uploader is working fine right now, so I've decided to start posting the stuff I got done over the course of the crash. This is my first one: an LDD update to most of my Halo weapons.
I was pretty happy with my first batch of weapons, but during the course of posting my LDD comic and my Insurrection missions, I kept finding tiny little problems in most of them that were both visual (colors/shapes wrong) and mechanical (didnt fit into minifig hands right). So, with the amount of time on my hands, I updated them.

Overhead shot. Human weapons are on the bottom row, Covvie weapons on the middle row, and melee/grenades make up the top (plus a forerunner weapon).

This, my friends, is a pistol. A really crappy one at that, but it serves its purpose.

The H3:ODST socom pistol, with scope and silencer. That clone blaster with the scope proved handy in this one.

The SMG. I would advise you to pretend that the robot hands aren't there: minifig hands are the way to go but in LDD you can't separate minifig hands from torsos.

The Ch33f dual weilding the SMGs. Master Chief will provide as a mannequin for my weapons throughout the walkthrough.

Assault rifle. It's really ugly, and it's just built so bad, but I was going for a canonical look but failed miserably...

Holding it. Most of my weapons are held sideways, like this and in future examples.

Battle Rifle, one of my favorites of the batch.

The DMR, which has the same basic backbone of my aforementioned battle rifle, but a different frontal area. It's held the same way as my battle rifle is.

Shotgun! I went for a more canonically correct look rather than proportion, so it is a bit big for a minifigure but it looks great. I'm not sure if this is my M45 or M90, because...

...I have this shotgun too. I like this one a bit better because of its beefiness.

Sniper rifle! Sized down considerably and made all-black, my sniper rifle looks much better and packs in that same detail the old one did.

The coveted Spartan Laser. In an olive drab, too! I like it this way much better than last time's blocky and disproportional front area.

On one knee, the Chief prepares for a killimanjaro...

The rocket launcher, ironically, hasn't changed, and yet I spent hours on trying to figure out a good technique for it before settling back to this one. It's nicely sized, and it also can be held okay if put in the right angle.

Missile pod. The only real thing that's changed is the handle placement, to match its video game counterpart more realistically. Plus, I didn't want to stick with Scorp's designs forever :)

For some reason, this pic looks really good and always catches my eye.

My machine gun turret, completely redesigned from Scorp's (but it still keeps the plate design from his, although changed a bit) looks much better than it ever did. It's a lot thinner and more minifig-friendly in my opinion. The only problem is that it's spinning turret technique from Scorp's has been, unfortunately, removed.

My flamethrower has barely changed save some ascetic differences and a different handle design.

FWOOM! KILL IT WITH FIRE!

A new weapon in my arsenal, the individual grenade launcher from Reach. It's very simple and compact, which impresses me for a first go at a new weapon.

Plasma pistol, Scorp's design.

Plasma rifle, Scorp's design.

Mauler, my own design. If you want to make it real life, you have to make it all grey, unfortunately. And you have to have that stud with the hole through it...whoops.

Needler, which I'm proud of except the fact that you can't have the red pistol. In any case, it's compact and sleek, and that trans-purple tile can be removed for that "loaded/unloaded" feel.

The Chief holds it like it would hold a 1x1 plate or tile. It looks pretty nice, actually.

Plasma repeater, which has been sized down considerably from last version and made to look more like the plasma rifle, or at least the front. It looks great hand-held on an Elite, sorta like how Brickarms' post apoc SMG fits in a minifig's elbow bend.

Beam rifle, probably my favorite revamp. I got that slope just right, and the trans pieces give that alien feel. It's also just the right size for an Elite, although a tad bigger than it should be for a minifig. My only nagging concern is why i made it black...it confuses me.

It provides as a great alternative for the sniper rifle, as shown here on the Chief.

My focus rifle also got a pretty big revamp, but it doesn't look as good as I hoped it to be. I think it's those 1x1 clips that are bugging me, but I'm not sure. Maybe it's a bit too blocky...?

It's also a bit big.

Spiker, Scorp's design, and nothing has changed here.

Carbine, probably the most disappointing of my revamps. It's so blocky and messed up and really disappointing, especially for a revamp. I'll have to figure out a way to get those curves without using minifig arms...more work XD

My needler rifle, which has been made smaller and so much more AWESOME!!! Unfortunately, it's a bit thin, but other than that scales and colors are all good.

FEAR THE PINK MIST!

My brute shot, the only weapon I didnt make on my first round of LDD weapons that was an old one. I was never satisfied with Scorp's design (though it was one of the best at the time), but this time I wanted to redeem myself and make it. To say the least, I'm proud of how it turned out.

I don't have a Chief pose because I haven't been able to decide how to make a minifig hold the weapon yet...so here's the backside of the brute shot for compensation.

My concussion rifle has been upgraded considerably from last time, and although its shape and design is near perfect, it's just way too big. It would be on the top of my list (along with the carbine) for revamping a third time.

My fuel rod gun, which has been redesigned yet again, with a bigger handle and some more ascetic changes. The last version was a bit too blocky for my tastes.

My plasma launcher, which has also been revamped a bit. I especially like the handle area (now holdable by a minifig as well as an Elite!) and the front nozzle.

And finally, to finish off my Covvie weapons, I present the new Plasma turret. I decided to keep the same shield design (I thought it was pretty ingenious myself), but made the turret shorter and changed the back handle for a more minifig-friendly feel.

I wonder how I could make my Grunt hold this thing...probably impossible. It looks nice on the Chief, though.

Sentinel Beam, from my Sentinel that I created a while back, which hasn't changed.

PEEEWWWWWWWW!!!

My gravity hammer. The only thing that has changed is that the handle has been made shorter, for minifigure purposes. If you want to see it in use, check it out here in my comic.

Combat knife!

Energy sword. This, of course, is the human version of it, as my Elite version looks a bit more flush. Someday I'll find a design that's universal, but for now this is how it will have to be.

And last, but certainly not least, my grenades. Not much has changed here, except for that gear on the spike grenade that provides more ascetic spikes.

A final shot of all my weapons! I really hope you liked them, as I certainly enjoyed making them and experimenting with both old and new techniques. And remember, the download link is on the bottom of the page for anyone who wishes to use my weapons, assuming that you will give credit.
Please rate and comment, and give me some feedback! I would especially like to know which weapons you most and least liked, as this type of critique can help me design better weapons for future updates to come.

Yes thank God! I will have it up as soon as possible! Also I want you to take a look at a Spiker design I found while diging around on Flickr! I think it might work on LDD! |

Don't worry a few will be posted in my noob pwning mocs! And when I say highly illegal I mean the purists will be after me with pitch forks and torches! Because I use Testors modelling paint and use a special saw and special high-polymer clay to make the arms longer! Plus for my DMR I cut a pair of binoculars in half and glued them to the Brickarms HSR! I relize the clip is not where it is supposed to be located but with the propper amount of cutting I should make it quite perfect!
You're lucky im not a die hard purist, or I'd kill you on sight. Although I like using regular unadulterated lego parts, I really want to see what you can do with paint and cutting. Cant wait! |

Well done! I really liked your designs; quite innovative. I made every weapon from every game and you are welcome to use designs from my page, though I would appreciate credit. Once again, nice job! I would recommend you check out my energy sword and carbine in particular. The designs may not be possible on LDD but turned out awesome for my elites. |

The UNSC weapons are really good soon I will be releasing my weapon designs. I will be modifying brickarms weapons and using highly illegal styles to get everything just right! Oh and by the way you are welcome to use my Fuel Rod design if you like it is completely my idea but if you do give credit! Thanks~*W.R*
Highly illegal...please, do tell :D I'd be glad to see all of your weapons, and I'll be sure to incorporate some of yours into my collection. Glad you like them all! |
