M4 Sherman Tank
After many weeks of ordering and building, I finally finished my M4 Sherman, the first of many big tanks I'll be uploading. Next I'll start building a churchill tank.
About this creation
The M4 Sherman was a fast, reliable and mobile tank produced during world war 2. Since it was easy to mass produce, an incredible 59,000 of these tanks were built in total. They were armed with 75mm or 76mm high volocity guns that could penetrate amour 300 meters away. These tanks were so popular that nearly every country in the second world war operated these tanks, including the germans and jappanese who used captured Shermans.
Unfortantly, despite their popularity, these tanks were unsuccessful. Their amour was only 60mm thick and were easy targets for the German Panther and Tiger tanks. They were also powered by petrol engines, making them flammable. A single shot from a tiger tank could destroy a Sherman. Because of this, sherman tank crews were told to only attack Tiger tanks if there were at least 5 other Shermans. Nevertheless, the Shermans outnumbered the german tanks and invaded Germany.

In my opinion, this is a massive improvment compared to my small tiger tank, since it has a much rounded turret and body.

very good! no offense, but it looks like an m3 Stuart, not a Sherman. But still probably better than any tank i can build.

I think the Churchill tank was an ultimate success with that era of tanks.

Quoting "Q M" Christopher Honkzo6 Just some info on the Churchill tank= The Churchill tank is one of Britain's most famous tanks. Although the gun had trouble penetrating enemy armour, the armour on the Churchill was almost un-penetrable, at least, according to a record saying that a single Churchill tank was hit almost 20 times by various types of shell, and not one penetrated the armour. I'm looking forward to seeing the Sherman. By the sounds of it, it looks good.
I also heard that the churchill MK VII's amour is 150mm, much thicker than the Tiger's. On one accasion, a churchill tank fired a round at a Tiger tank, which damaged its turret ring and wounded the commander. After, its crew abandoned the Tiger and it was captured by British forces.
