The Slums of Jericho City
Is it a warzone, the result of nuclear war, no it's just a mess no one wants to clean up.
About this creation

To me, this is an appropriate song. Go to 0:48.

At the foot of tall spires lies the remains of a once functional society. Years ago 'The Mad Preacher' set off a nuclear device in the center of the city, laying waste to the area and even crumbling a few of the gigantic super-structures known as Spires.
Now, the poor are forced to live in the hostile post-apoc conditions while those with money live in safer conditions high above.
Surrounding the tall spires and a designated 'Green Zone' are tall walls to keep out criminals and the more dangerous inhabitants of this elevation. The walls are manned by a special sector of the F.I. military.
Thick, toxic clouds block out all sun, forcing the slums into eternal night.
Don't confuse this with your tipical nuclear fallout build; the area could be restored, but no one wants to.

A lone sniper from F.I.’s elite guard watches for what may lurk in the shaows.

The ground, that dried up long ago, is covered in debris.

Another Elite watches, but not for foes.

The Elite Commander is questioning two unlikely occupants of the slums. They have effective weapons, equipment, and don’t have tattered cloths.

They say they are just scavengers, but the Commander has seen others like them walk the same path.

The Commander is right to assume on who they are, for this is the path to the hidden Bounty Hunter’s Guild.

Fourth Wall Commentaries

Full view of the vig. This part of the slums is more in disrepair than it is the results of the shockwave.

The road is in very good condition, save for rubble, because it was built to last.

A street lamp pole stands above clogged sewers. The lamp itself was removed during the lootings.

The dried up remains of a person’s yard. It used to be a suburban paradise, not anymore.

This used to be a house, now it is merely a road. The green flag signals travelers that the green zone is close.

The interior of the house has floor boards ripped up and thrown about, a computer lies in the corner, usless.

An Elite watches a hose run water. You may be thinking why a hose would still be running, the Elites are emptying the radioactive water supply.

The wall, built only months after the detonation still stands. It protects the fertile, rebuilt area called the ‘Green Zone’. Green stripes indicate it is behind the wall, blue and grey stripes remind you that F.I. built it.

The Elite Sniper has a good view of the meeting. If the Commander signals, via HUD, he will kill the ‘suspects’ with deadly efficiency.

The three Elites.

The two Bounty Hunters on their way to the guild. On the right is Matthew Hawk, on the left is //Name Missing//, otherwise known as Snake.

Good thing the uploader is back up, now I can get a rough draft done of Part I of Disobedience (my summer/fall series set in the Jericho Universe).

Quoting Crazy Awesome I'm not sure if you did it on purpose, but I think the house inside is a bit bare, I think it would look more ruined if there were broken lamps or furniture skewn around the dislodged floorboards.
I left it empty for one reason; looting.

Yeah, now the pics are back up, looks good! I'm not sure if you did it on purpose, but I think the house inside is a bit bare, I think it would look more ruined if there were broken lamps or furniture skewn around the dislodged floorboards. The wall and the road are my favorite parts!

Although the pictures are not showing yet, due to your usual build quality I am going to go ahead and give a 5/5. Plus this will be a reminder for me to come back and look at it once the pictures are up. Hope this problem gets fixed soon.

Even though it says you can add photos, the hard drives are still probably down, which is why no pictures have showed up. As AA said, you can use flickr.

Just want to tell you that I'm having some Exams coming the day after tomorrow so I promised the family that I wouldn't use the comp after it so next month I am free to build and POST! But I'm taking pictures/snapshots and want to inform you this and hopefully I might get more time to take snaps on my mission during some holidays between some of the papers....
