It's about 2,5 years ago I started to post my city on the pages. A lot has changed since then. Time for a comparison!

About this creation

The inner city:The most interesting changes were made in the inner city. The Library has been replaced by three buildings from Alkmaar: A house, a pub and a LEGO store. The central square was revisited and the town hall was removed to make room for "Fort Modulex". I also added the fishmarket(unfinished) at the back.

The industrial area: The supermarket got a new exterior, some lampposts were added, and the blue building now is a tv studio. I also added a tv-tower to the studio.

Airport: Many changes here as well. I did a complete rebuild of the left of the building, which was an official set before the make-over... I also added a fence and some guards for some realistic security.

Park area: I rebuilt the old police station, it was the oldest building in town.(2007 or something). Revisited the park and added some parking space to the hospital. The zoo remained unchanged,but plans are there to rebuild it as well.

City gate: Revisited the red cross, added a new roof, and made a new park. No cars allowed into the city from this side.

Station square: Some interesting changes here as well. The station has been replaced by the "Alkmaar station", and the restaurant was moved to another part of the city. Also a dock and a tax tower (Accijnstoren) were added to the square. "Carré" remained untouched.

Shipyard: My most recent change. I gave the building a new facade and new interior. It now is a used items store. Interior pictures will follow.

It's not really an anniversary, but I'm happy with what I've achieved here on the pages. my city grew from nothing to this, and my creations get more than 5 smilies a year now. Soon I will order a lot of trees like the ones you see on the main picture, and my city will improve even more. Thanks for all the comments and support.
