SU-47
About this creation

This is a 1:45 scale replica of the Russian fifth generation air superiority fighter, the SU-47 berkut (golden eagle.) This is one of my favorite jets, known for its excellent maneuverability. Too bad it will never see mass production.

Oh, and I almost forgot. IN response to your comment on my blackbird, the little jet thing is really an early UAV called the D-21 or "Daughter-ship" A carrier type blackbird (M-21 "Mother-ship") was made to carry these drones in areas deemed too dangerous for manned flight. The project was cancelled after a fatal accident involving the launch of the D-21. The one in the museum that you saw is the first M21 prototype which primarily served as an observation plane while the other one conducted actual launches.

Great job on the wings. I like the forward swept look. I see you even put a downward angle on them.

Really cool! You certainly got the shape spot on. Thanks for your comment on my plane. Yeah the sukhois are cool planes - and you built this one really well :-)

You have the shaping down but I suggest you actually make it a little smaller for realistic appeal. Also, try to find a way around those mega bloks canopies. While they look good, they just don't seem right on this. Other than that, good job!

Nice body shape and very accurate. The gray color give it a proto-type look!

Quoting Green helmet spanish AFOL Excellent design. The front is very realistic and smooth on its design. But allow me to give you a few tips to make it better: -for the front landing gear. You could use the space behind the cockpit to hold a larger landing gear with larger wheels. If you have been able to build the whole plane, a small modification should have no problem. -for the rear landing gear. You can increase the width of the rear part of the belly, even the inner wing, so that you can hold a larger rear landing gear. A larger landing gear will also allow you to carry weapons or fuel tanks under the belly, making a more powerful plane. -I suppose you will carry weapons under the wings. -Where did you get the cockpit? Is it Lego? Congratulations!
Thanks for your observations. I wish I had built the landing gear larger. The ordinance is carried internally in a mid fuselage bay, much like the F-22 raptor. The cockpit is a megablocks piece.
