About this creation

I haven't posted a really good or super hard MOC in a while, but that's not because I haven't been building. I've actually been building a lot of cars recently, but I couldn't post them a soon as I wanted to because I decided to make 2 Bricklink orders instead of doing 5+ to save money on the shipping cost. So I've been building a lot of cars but not finishing them quickly as I usually do. Recently, building cars has been REALLY difficult for me. It seems like each car I choose to build is harder than the previous one. I've abandoned tons of MOCs recently including the Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M, which I thought would be a piece of cake.

This MOC has a lot of technics that Sven Bode used on his version, so he gets the credit!

Because a few people asked how I made the doors open, here's a picture of it.

Quoting Nick Barrett Another fine model, you're best so far I think. Love the details and the doors (would like a close up of how you did that.. :-) ). I'm a little perplexed by your use of two shades of gray on the side but this is still a great MOC.
I'll post a close up picture of the door hinge soon. It's actually very simple. Just read my reply to Dorrowski about the grey.

Quoting Malte Dorowski no, no - I mean this up here ;-). I'm waiting for the porsche. I thought this will be your next. favorite: hihi ... no, you're welcome.
Oh. I understand now. I'll try to post my Porsche in a week or so it's pratically finished except for the steering wheel - the piece is on its way. :)

Quoting Malte Dorowski the "Porsche 911 GT2 RS" looks strange! you're not a favorite of mine - why? two different gray - why? no "R" - why? the doors - how? For me, this car brings up one question after another ;-) ..but.. ravishingly beautiful!
What parts do you think looks strange on the Porsche? Is it the carbon fiber parts? It looks okay to me. I'm not 100% sure why I used two different color gray pieces; it was because the price for the Bricklink order was already expensive, or I just forgot to add it to my order. I didn't choose to build the R version because CCXRs are either black or orange, and I don't have enough/right kind of those colors. I'll post a picture of the door hinge later. I thought the reason why you didn't add me as a favorite was because I kept bugging you with questions. :)

This looks great! The shape is good and I really like the back. Also the front....well, it looks good from most angles! Nice work! (P.S. I don't think you should give up on the F430!)

This really is an excellent moc. Following our conversation... German GP - hamilton won, alonso 2nd and the red bulls 3rd and 4th. Try and watch the highlights (if you can) there was so many brilliant overtakes by the top drivers. It looks like the red bulls have finally been caught by McLaren and Ferrari. The end of the season is going to great :D.

Wow what a beauty. You have captured the characteristics perfectly. It is a little square at the front but the sides and rear are stunning. I love the rear views. And yes I love the exhaust too. Great job LBJ
