Centaur Toa [Bio-Cup 2011]
For Bio-Cup 2011
About this creation

I had to build a mythological toa so I went for a centaur.

Since he is still half-toa he has control over his Toa Element Earth. Which comes handy in the forest he lives in.

I wish I had the time and place to make him better. But we are having renovations in our house so I had to use the time and place I had which was not much. I know Toa have a kanohi but I found it rather akward to use it. However I still used a kanohi as face but just different. If you wonder what his secondary color is, it's metallic green. I also could use black pins instead of blue ones but I could'n find them

A tough decision, really. Ultimately the presentation made the difference. I voted for your opponent.

Very nice centaur but the thing is I have seen a lot of centaur mocs already(I think my first moc was even a centaur). Also I was looking at the body proportion and it seems a little lacking in the horse. I have to vote for your opponent

Great. Legs could use som improvement, and that antenna thing is odd, but apart from that i s a very good MOC. The torso looks great, and I like the color scheme. I vote for you on this.

Quoting Chopperskull (Leader of air) I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it's really nice. The use of those technic panels are cool. My only complaints are that the legs are basic, and the feet should have had two toes on each foot or something. I really like the piece choice for the hind legs to capture the double knee look on many animals. It's a great moc, and i like it. Good job. I would give it a 4, but I know how challenging it is to come up with something like this, (I quit the bio-Cup) so I say a 5 is deserved.
Toes? It is half-horse half-toa and if you don't know horses don't have any toes on their feet. Only a hoove. I know the legs are basic but it was this or not entry for the second round >_>

Nice. I think you should probably have made the rear end longer and beefier though. Good luck in the contest.

I've been seeing a lot of great uses of those metallic green panels lately, but this takes the cake! The tubes really add to it. The Ben 10 leg piece fits perfectly here. Great job!
