Xenocron Technologies is about to introduce a new standard in the world of quality battlemechs with the new Ares-4!

The Ares-4 uses a radical new leg design, something our XT engineers have been working for quite some time on. It also makes use of a new back-mounted compact weapon system that can fold back when not being used. It's primary use in the battlefield is to get to the front lines and hold the enemy off so that the heavier guns can arrive safely.
Stock weapons for the Ares are two SRM-2 Zeppelin missile launchers. As an interesting note, this is the first Xenocron Technologies mech to use Zeppelin missiles, a new type of missile designed to be light, yet still carry a devastating payload.
For more daring users, the Ares can be equipped with two HEM-3 railguns, and for the back-mounts, two PLAB-2 mini-laser cannons.
For a slightly closer range, the Ares can be equipped with two T.LITE flamethrowers, known for their reliability and endurance. Just so the Ares doesn't get outranged with these weapons, we've added a couple LRM-15 missile launchers, perfect for making sure no enemy troops get too close.

It's A Very Clean Design, And The Different Weapon Packs Give It Some Versatility Which Is A Nice Feature To Have. I Really Don See Any Major Issues With The Overall Design And Function, It's A Fairly Solid Mech, Assuming It's Meant For Mass Production, Both In Terms Of Function And Design. |
