AEGAKS-706-Tskr "Timeseeker"
Behold, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the pride and joy of my 2011 summer vacation (in so far as MOC's go).
About this creation
AEGAKS-706-Tskr “Timeseeker” (Medium Class)

Pilot - Fiera Gabrielle

Designation - Sniper

Armament - Heavy long-distance laser cannon equipped with scope
- Energy sword
- Rocket pods (assorted projectiles, including nano-virus grenades, incendiaries, homing rockets, and mortars).

Details - The AEGAKS-106-Tskr “Timeseeker” is a medium-class mecha used in the city streets of the Sentai Province. It is piloted by American-born Fiera Gabrielle, who came to the Sentai Province before nuclear bombs destroyed her home country. This AEGAKS was built specially for her by SPA engineers. The Timeseeker is used primarily for support purposes in battle, as its high-power, long range sniper rifle can engage a Devastator platform from many miles away. However, the Timeseeker is more than capable of fighting enemies at close range. It is equipped with rocket pods (carrying many assorted projectiles) and an energy sword to combat Devastators at shorter distances than are normally comfortable. The Timeseeker also has very thick armor for its class, utilizing new carbon nanotube-wrapped solid Kevlar plating. SPA engineers also provided Fiera with nano-virus grenades (launched from one of the Timeseekers rocket launch tubes). The nano-viruses can slowly corrode Devastator platforms, and even reproduce under proper conditions to destroy more platforms. However, due to the prices of these grenades, the Fiera is not permitted to use them unless engaging in an infantry campaign. The Timeseeker is also equipped with jump boosters to propel it from rooftop to rooftop. The Timeseeker is one of the most advanced AEGAKS units the SPA has ever built, and is a dangerous enemy against the Devastator legions.

Here is the Timseeker, fully armed.

Timeseeker with its primary weapon, the LSR706 Laser Rifle.

Taking the caps off Devastator heavy drones.

Full body without any armaments.

The Timeseeker has a removable rocket pod with multiple types of projectiles.

Rocket pod firing!

One of the Timeseeker's secondary weapons is a beam sabre, which is capable of damaging most Devastator Mecha armor.

One of the Timeseeker's only true challenges in the Devastator Legion is the Scourge...

The primary weapon.

The clip contains photon rounds, which are released into the barrel at the speed of light.

The scope can be removed.

The handle can retract to the side of the rifle.

These are all the weapons that the Timeseeker is designated. However, due to its versatility, other arms may be added if necessary.

The nano-virus grenades are specially made for the Timeseeker.

The Timeseeker's "head" has multiple receptors, including heat signature sensors, targeting and ranging, and radar among many other functions.

The upper arm is composed of solid Kevlar, and each plate is wrapped with carbon nanotubes, providing the best protection in all the AEGAKS fleet.

The lower right arm's armor is modified slightly so that it is easier for the Timeseeker to wield its rifle.

Comparison of armor.

Upon request, the Timeseeker was outfitted with light jump boosters to propel the suit from rooftop to rooftop in more urban combat zones.

I'm very pleased with the way the upper arms came out. The contrast between smooth and bulky is very appealing to me.

As with all AEGAKS, the pilot block can be ejected in times of need. This is our pilot, Fiera Gabrielle.

Here is Fiera, accompanied by her squadron's leader, Lieutenant Raito Mirimashi. He plays a large role in the safety of Fiera in the AEGAKS storyline.

Notes: This AEGAKS was almost entirely designed by a very, very close friend of mine. She and I have very close interests: we both enjoy anime, she thinks that Legos are kind of cool, though she does not own any, and has grown to like mecha since we met (I wonder where that came from???). One afternoon, I asked her a couple of questions…

Q) If you were a pilot, what class would you drive?
A) Medium. It’s fast, and can take a decent punch.
Q) What colors would you want?
A) Primary would be white, with purple and green accents.
Q) What armor, chunky or smooth?
A) Smooth

…And so on and so forth. The mecha’s name was hers, the pilot’s name was hers, everything about it was hers. I simply built it in a way that would suit me, and that I thought she would find cool. Consider it a “Self-Mecha.” The presentation went rather smoothly. This is going to be the last of my large-scale MOC’s for the summer, and perhaps for a long time (I’m taking all AP and Honors classes next year). I plan on posting some Sentai Province Army soldiers soon, but I won’t be able to make anything huge for some time.

I am not taking any requests for Self-Mechas (unless they’re small).

This AEGAKS was a ton of fun to build, and a pleasure to build it with my best friend in mind. I hope she enjoys it as much as I do.

Credits go to…

My dear friend, for the wonderful ideas and input that made this mecha possible.

Jason Dominguez (Rabid Goldfish), for the AEGAKS theme and the AEGAKS Frame and ejecting pilot block.

Gundam 00 “Dynames.” The rifle was inspired by the Dyname’s primary weapon, a GN-particle Beam Sniper Rifle.

Until later,
~Liam

Quoting arya wisanggeni what is AEGAKS? I've seen many AEGAKS and they're really awesome, and yours too :D
AEGAKS is a special division of mecha in the Exo-Force theme that involves an ejectable pilot block. Check out Rabid Goldfish's creations. He created the theme. Thanks for the comment :)

I thought at first it was labeled "Timseeker", and I was wondering who Tim was. I really like this rocket launcher with all the support beams, really clever usage.

I love it! I'm kinda confused on it's true calling, but It's pretty awesome that you're friend designed this. >w> gave you the inspiration to build it this way. As to Marcus' question, All it needs is the Ejectable Pilot Block designed by Rabid Goldfish, and you can build ANY frame for it and give it any style or techniques that you can use. A good reference are a couple of the ones that Rabid's actually made.

Liam, you are inactive in TFOLPC but you keep putting your MOCs in the group. It's exploitive.

NO problem. An EVA is a mech from the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. It looks like a monster kinda, and the timeseekers coloring reminded a little of the protagonists mechs coloring. If you'd like to watch some (Not that I think you would anything considering its a bit old) heres a link to my favorite site for watching anime: http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/neon-genesis-evangelion-english-dubbed-online-free. If you have any more questions feel free to ask me (or google).

Quoting Marcus Jackson Really cool, the color scheme reminds me of an EVA. But what exactly makes a mech an AEGAKS?
An AEGAKS must have an ejectable pilot block, as seen on the Timseeker. I suggest you look into Rabid Goldfishe's AEGAKS creations. He created the theme, and has been a great inspiration to me. Please tell me, what is an EVA?

It has been a while since I saw the last true AEGAKS around. This, my friend, is gorgeous. The rifle is very inspiring as is the sword. Didn't liked the rocket launcher though, but it doesn't ruin the mech in any aspect. Loved the poseability and the color scheme. The story is great too. I wish every AEGAKS creations were like this one... Great job!

I really like it, but the long handle on the sniper gun, while foldable, drives me off. Apart from that it's essentially a flawless mech.

Quoting Rabid Goldfish Now that is some serious mecha. Tell your friend she's got a good eye for detail, as do you. I definitely see this as a canon MOC, so feel free to pencil it in. In fact, the story is so good, that the only issue to be addressed would have to be that it was the pilot's family that had moved to Japan, and not the pilot herself, given that this takes place almost a hundred years after the Fog War. I am very taken with this model, you did a fantastic job. ^Blub^
I have a bit of an issue with the timeline of the AEGAKS theme, so please forgive me. Fiera Gabrielle's bio will be posted when I get the chance, and that will explain why she went to Japan by herself. I'm hoping to add some characters to the AEGAKS theme, including Lieutenant Mirimashi (seen with Fiera in one of the pictures). Thanks for the heads up!
