I finally was inspired with some pieces I bought from Brickworld and created two new buildings, including my first skyscraper in six months!

About this creation

I first saw this technique a few months ago (credit to whoever used it first) and thought it would be pretty cool to use in a building.

The entire structure is held together by a 1x1 round brick located in the back of the central core.

This skyscraper is 570’ (171m) in height, making it tied second for tallest in the city. There are 49 floors.

The core consists of technic pieces for stability.

The building is someone reminiscent of Burj Dubai’s footprint, as they both have flower-like plans.

Note: The photos of these buildings were taken in the park but they will not be placed here. I need to buy some more baseplates before they are permanently placed.

Wow that is really cool Paul! Glad to see that Brickville's skyscraper-building was only held off for six months unlike Chicago's which has been non-existent for decades!

These are really nice buildings! The detail on them is amazing, and they look architecturally correct, support wise (they would be able to stand up to wind in the real world). Overall, awesome job!
