So Close...

I enjoyed building those two F-Zero racers, so i built the other two of the original 4.

About this creation

First up is the good old Blue Falcon, the only one most people recognize. It didn't recieve much of an upgrade, except for a minor one in the back. It now has the correct number of engines, and the tails are slightly longer.

Next is the Fire Stingray, which got quite an upgrade.

Now, for the new ones

The Golden Fox, piloted by Dr. Stewart. Dr. Stewart is endlessly annoying in F-Zero, since he almost always wins due to his ship's fast acceleration.

The last machine (and also the most forgettable), Pico's Wild Goose. The Wild Goose is my personal favorite of the original four, and i think that this one turned out the best.

Its also interesting to note that this one has a completely flat bottom

As for the main pic, i think it is pretty self-explanetory. The Blue Falcon colided with something and blew up right before finishing. The column of smoke was purposefully 2D, since I was trying to mimic the flatness of the SNES.
