VDS now gladly presents the Armored Infantry Engagement Vehicle, or AIEV. Heavily based off of the Russian Federation's BMPT, the role of the AIEV is to neutralize infantry threatening friendly armour. The turret features two 25mm cannons and four ATGMs designed to engage targets from both afar and at mid-range. There are two additional 40mm AGLs mounted in the hull that are used for eliminating close-range targets. Although this rather small vehicle contains a plethora of armaments, it is only crewed by three [drive, commander, gunner] all contained in an internal module that is essentially floating in shock-absorbent and Kevlar-esque substances meant to protect them against hits from large calibre weaponry; therefore, enabling this vehicle to mobilize with friendly armour without fear of sustaining unnecessary human losses. All-in-all, this vehicle is able to dish-out quite a punch while sustaining quite a number itself.
About this creation
An AIEV scaled with the vehicle driver.
An AIEV stopping to talk with a local security detail.
Note: Yes, I'm aware the photography and MOC both blow. Oh well.
It's not half bad. The top of it is nice and detailed and the tank overall seems compact, well atleast compared to many tanks on this site, and can get the job done.
