Kalmah was never really liked the reversal of mutation because he lost many abilities. So he tried to mutate himself. this resulted in both lungs and gills and he grew much stronger. but during the mutation, he also became more of an animal (physically and mentally) but he is able to contain the animal inside and speaks almost properly, but every time he moves his jaw, a strange, oily liquid drips out of his jaws and runs down his mouth. he replaced the blind eye with a red laser to cut through almost anything. Some how, he ended up back in a sea of the matoran universe (not in the pit this time) and has been making his way to an island city whom's name he forgot. as he came closer, he slowly lost control of himself and hardly does what his brain commands...
